I wish I could check it out but I currently live in a state that prohibits gambling in

their constitution yet has a casino on literally every corner........,

just sad empty rooms with slot machines, make it make sense👍

but I can tell you I lived there for 4 or 5 years and played every poker site available.
no one has ever been arrested for gambling online there

No help for travel - they're giving away 5 million in a freeroll - that should be lots of incentive. They are paying top 500 players, 2000 tickets will be handed out, so pretty high percentage of winners. Keep in mind that 5,000,000 / 2000 tickets means each ticket has a $2500 value. Tickets non-transferable. 1st prize is a cool million. they'll have a bounty component once they reach 500 players. Giving away 100 seats into the 10K main event - for that, the people in the final 500, when you are busted out and leaving, (which you have some payday due to being final 500) you draw an envelope. 400 blanks, 100 have the 10K entry

Note my other post, there is no online play. freeroll is live in vegas dec 13-15

Oh ok. I guess they just notify those who have won Golden tickets, and then you get out to Vegas to play it? I guess if I get a ticket, I'll have to find a way to get out there.

The WPT Ambassador's have been announcing news that ClubWPTGold will be opening/available 'LEGALLY' to almost all of the U.S.A. with some great promotional freerolls to get it started ($5,000,000 freeroll!!!).
All states in the USA except for:
Idaho
Washington
Montana
Michigan

So, I went back to their site because I saw that games were running, and it's a little confusing. I thought I was signed up, because I registered for that freeroll (and never got a response), but I still had to resign up. I made an account and played my first MTT with the Gold Coins on there. I read the rules on how to get the Sweepstakes Coins, and it's still a bit confusing lol. The rules mentioned sending them a mailed postcard with your account ID and legal address on there... I make take some more time tomorrow to figure it all out. But I haven't had to drop any $ in there, yet.

Anyway, after sign-up, I had 15,000 Gold Coins, and it looks like they have MTTs going on every 2 hours with 40 minute late reg for 6,000 Gold Coins. I signed up 5 minutes before the game was to start. Finished in 6th and never had to rebuy. Won 20,000 Gold Coins plus my initial buy-in of 6,000 GC. So, I'm up to 35,000 Gold Coins. Which I think are just their free coins, though.

It looks like they're still working on the logistics of things.

I think that's what they're going to do with a monthly fee for sweepstakes coins and prizes. I'm not exactly sure. But that's what others have said. I'll keep an eye on it and keep posted.

When I signed up, I started with 15,000 Gold Coins. I played in a freeroll and got it up to 35,000. I thought it was a 6K GC MTT, but it was a freeroll, and I took 6th for 20K. I entered in a 5K GC game earlier and lost. AA lost to 109o. Q-x-10 on the flop and we got it all in after the flop. He hits a 9 on the turn. So, I'm at 30K after playing 2 freerolls and a 5K game.

Update. Tonight's Games. They now have "Sweeps Coins" which are like the coins that you can eventually trade in for real money. They have also implemented daily log in bonuses, where you can get "Gold Coins" which seem to be the play money coins, but you also get a little "Sweeps Coins" as well. They are more for each consecutive day that you log in.

The first couple of days, seems there were some decent play going on. Now, with more people coming in to play the games, it's feeling almost like BINGO. The site is still in its infancy, though. So, time will tell if it gets better, but it looks like they are working a lot on the site. I have yet to put in actual money into it.

I've been playing on Global Poker a lot because they also have this sweepstakes model but I really don't like the bad beats over there. I will definitely switch to this site once it fully comes out.
