I just started thread about how neteller just told me today they arent allowing anymore instacash deposits from the us, and i just reactivated my account there so i could play on ps again with u guys n gals, they did however let me make an eft, but now hearin all this, i dont know WHAT to do

I'm sure he wasnt meaning to offend you. Basically if it is so immoral to play poker then it should be illegal for Indians/Native Americans as well. The fact is that the Indians actually fought for thier rights and the American government listened (eventually). The government knows that they can walk all over the average citizen so that is what they do.

Simple...click on the multi-quote icon on each post you want to quote. When all the posts that you want are selected then click the regular quote icon.

I'm not talking about way back when...(was going to type examples but wwould probably get deleted). The fact is that the US government makes attempts at appearing to satisfy the people that fight back.

This is big news...basically haulting U.S. poker play...unless you're in Nevada or Atlantic City...? ...I wonder what would happen if UB's people or Tilt's came over to the U.S. (I'm assuming they're not), would they get arrested?

If anyone is gonna do the direct from back account transfer. Which is what I did to cut out the middle man. I'd set up a small ballance savings account at a local bank that I don't do other business with. Then I'd just use that account to feed the site that will take money directly. I keep mine at just above the minimal ballance to keep from service fees and even get a penny or two interest each year. But there are banking rules that I don't like when you have more than one account in an institution, so this takes those rules out of play. Yep, it's the golden rule. He who has the gold makes the rules. I don't know the first congressman/senator that is not a multi millionaire.

US gambling

Why doesn't the US give its residents an avenue for gambling like the other countries do? Do they think they'll be missing out on a piece of the pie, they could monitor and restict what they want. I don't understand why they are banning gambling and not leaving an avenue for US gamblers here in the US. this is a big amount of money for people, why don't they just hop on the bandwagon and ley US players play. They keep cancelling accounts and sites and trying to send people to jail, when they should just write some legislation that allows allows US players to play online, this would alleviate much of the problems with finding a site to play on when you're a US citizen. If the US allwoed US and other players to play here, then other players would no doubt choose to play here at US sites and probably not foreign ones!!!

I think it is wonderful news for Americans that your law enforcement agencies have so much free time. Obviously, they can afford to give great attention to going after retired former managers of overseas organisations which may (possibly) have committed some trivial infraction.

They WANT you to gamble...just at their "Approved places"...like State Lotteries, Horse Racing, and "legal" casinos (Nevada, New Jersey, Cruise Ships, Native American reservations, etc... ALL which have BEEN EXCLUDED from this peice-o-crap legilation. I believe you're even allowed to play online if you dial-in from a reservation)

Golden Rule: These places are making the gold and lined the pockets of the last congress and got the rules made.

There will be another way to deposit. They are just shutting down the main e-wallet known as neteller. I didn't hear them say they were closing click2pay or Moneybookers..or any other of the many e-wallets out there. There will be a way to get around this absoultley absurd law.

IMO it's a scare tactic... even if the charges don't stick, Neteller will take a stock hit....and so will the others....

I'm sure everyone must know...but let me repeat one more time. This absurd law was attached to the Port Security Bill at midnight just before Congress went on break to get more right wingers elected.
