Yes, I agree. I would never let a big amount of money in any poker room, because they can decide one day to block your account and there isn't much you can do.

As for "other poker rooms" then last year one of such places actually let me to withdraw half of the money from 1k without asking anything eventhough mostly my deposits/withdrawals there are nowhere near to such amount ...

... so me estimate they were more than pleased that i left the other amount to waste (which i probably succesfully did) ...

Me personally i withdrew there many times over the years and apart from long waiting times i never had any issues.

If the account is not verified it is not possible to withdraw even US$10, I have already made several withdrawals of US$300 and US$200 at 888poker without a problem, party poker I have already withdrawn 1k, the complaint I have with 888poker is that they remove me from promotions and bonus, I'm at level 96 , I still play a lot of freerolls on 888poker, I won some $109 tickets I will continue trying to win a big tournament, I hope that when that happens they will allow me to cash out

I understand the poker room needs the docs, but i know 888 try to dificult this. I have problems with this room some time ago too. Today i only put any money in GG if i need. In another rooms who i play freerolls, i don't put any cent.

They didn’t motivate me in any way, they just decided to arrange an extraordinary verification, which, accordingly, I haven’t been able to pass for more than a month

Verification was passed, and I withdrew $100 every week without any problems. But when I won ticket 109, and then PKO 109 took first place $2,334.40 and withdrew 1k, immediately after that they arranged an extraordinary verification

This is another example Why I do not make deposits, They are fast enough to take your money when you make a deposit, but like someone said earlier any money you win is not your money until it is in your hands, and if they decide to block your account, you will not get a penny of it.
This is why I play with Virtual money, Money I have won from freerolls and used to build a bankroll, if they decide to keep it So what, none of the money was mine to begin with, and you cannot lose what you never had.

So your withdrawal request was not denied, but you have to go through an extra verification. Those two things are not quite the same

I think that every room ask for some deposit before withdraw for the first time, usually they ask it in order of enable a withdraw method. Other times, is the wager requirement, but at the end, it really shouldn't be hard to get your money. I was able to withdraw from PS, 888, GG and WPTG so far, and just a few times they asked me some additional requirement.

Honestly 888 is a bit slimey on how they go about this. I've played on there since 2007. I made initial deposit when I signed up there (although my first cash on the site was $280 from a Cardschat game).
I have Dep & WD many times but when I went to WD just recently, they hit me up with the 'need to verify'... And this is after I had made a couple of Deposits using same method I had hoped to WD with (bank e-transfer, same thing I use on all sites today). I've verified my account more than once there in the past.
Here's hoping I won't have any difficulties (as I'm just about to move to a new adddress) with them.

I've also heard of a few stories from some CC members having problems on 888 recently.
I definitely don't feel as confident with my funds on there vs. all of the other sites I play on. (8 other sites)

It is indeed a bit weird, that an account need to verified more than once. Especially if you are not trying to withdraw like a 6-figure amount or something. I hope, this will be completed soon. However as for OP "having not been able to pass the verification for more than a month", this makes me wonder, if something was actually wrong with his papers / account? So would be reassuring to hear, that you passed without problems.

if you win money, withdrawing money should not be a problem. Any player has rights and poker sites cannot refuse your money won and you can withdraw it whenever you want. Probably you played and won any promotion and therefore you can't withdraw money. I can't remember how withdraw process goes on 888, before "they" ban Serbian players...

If you are not planning on withdrawing a few thousands, this should never be an issue. Sites probably have better things to do then checking every small withdraw request in Detail.

At GG you can withdraw up to 3k monthly without the requirement of additional documents. PS I have no clue about the exact amount would need to look it up...Biggest amount I withdrew there was 1800€ also without any problems and within 1 hour the funds arrived.
But 888 is in fact fishy... It's actually the only pokerroom where they never let me withdrew anything ...

Why did 888 not let u withdraw? I never had issues there cashing out many many times amounts of a few hundred dollars, sometimes even thousands in the past years.

Never had any transaction there over 5k.

Why did 888 not let u withdraw?

They claim my account isn't yet verified. I send the documents mulitple Times. Which is btw also a pain in the Ass cause their system is so buggy it won't let me upload anything... Had to write emails and send it there .
Then they claimed they aren't allowed to open attached files due to security reasons lol.

So basically just lame excuses. I gave it up.
I only play freerolls there and small MTTs with tickets or prizemoney I won in CC games .

But there was a time where I played highstakes blast with much success . Even won 500 for 2nd in LB once.
In total it was around 1500 I wanted to withdraw.
That was 4 years ago.... maybe even more ...
