What do you like to do while playing online poker?

Just focus on the game, while listening to the sites music... Just to help concentration. This is the only activity that has allowed me to perform while playing poker.

Depends on the situation, but in some cases listen to a music is good option or watch a live sport on tv while playing helps to distract a little, so in cases that you need a lot of concentration is not a good ideia.

It really depends, if I’m playing lots of tables 3-6, then poker is all I’m doing. If I’m only playing 1 or 2 tables then I like to multi-task as Im a person who likes to keep busy. I might knitt and watch TV while playing poker. I might hop on the treadmill, play a computer game. When I was younger, I could multi-task a whole lot more than I do now . Depends on my mood as well. It also depends on how my poker game is going; if I’m doing well and FT is looking promising, then Im totally only doing poker.

i am taking notes on my opponents , watching taped soccer matches, and sometimes trying to follow Hikaru Nakamura's chess streams. but like someone said above , i cant do it if i have more than 2 tables going .

Watch films, documentaries etc. though I’m often playing poker on both my laptop and ipad these days so music is slowly becoming a thing... not to hot though as music affects game tempo subliminally.

Watching poker I feel is also a good shout as I usually play more reserved

On-line I like to relax playing mainly freerolls, it really does not matter to me if I win or lose, because what have I lost, Nothing!
If I win however it is a great feeling because all Free money is a bonus,
When I played in Live games I have a similar approach to the game, the buy-in is just the ticket price for entering the ride and how long the roller coaster last's is down to how well I play.
If losing the buy-in is a problem to you, then I would suggest you play for lower stakes or change the Game altogether, playing as if your life depends on winning or losing puts too much pressure on you mentally, and game choice could be anything from cash games to full MTTs.
Find the level you are comfortable playing and stick to it, there is nothing worse than playing with frightened money.
