That's the game man. You have to play a lot in order to beat those downswings

Yes, of course, a big company like these poker softers wouldn't burn themselves out due to fraud or, to make a profit for themselves, there are thousands of players and the prizes are divided fairly.

Online Pokers RNG is not what is "rigged".

That would be easy to spot to be honest. Someone could crack it and exploit it

What is rigged, especially on GG Poker is the bots. Bots will flood the games 1 second before late reg ends, all end up at the same table just using max time to check all the way to the river. Everyone min calls and then check check check until ITM. Once they are ITM they chip dump to one person at each table who then plays. If they are at a table with another one of their accounts, they collude and team play.

The real issue with online poker is the teaming, colluding, real time assistance, and botting GTO. It's destroying the integrity of the sport, and GG Poker is essentially supporting it by doing nothing.

We know they're doing it, they know they're doing it, and yet they allow it. Stay away from GG Pokers fancy dashboard and false prizes.

Lately, I'm really beginning to wonder. The last four times I've been dealt (A,A) or (K,K) raised or reraised a good amount and gotten called pre, the villain has flopped a set. Twice it was 9's. That's four times in a row. Never seen anything close to this in 40 years of Poker.

Pr(A's or K's)= 12/1326= 9.05E-3
Pr(set)= (12C2 * 2 * 4 * 4)/19600= 1.078E-1
Pr(quads)= (12*4)/19600= 2.45E-3

1.078E-1 + 2.45E-3= 1.103E-1 (11.03%)

Getting beat four times running: (9.05E-3 * 1.103E-1)^4= 9.93E-13 that's a little less than 10 out of 10 billion or 999,999,999 : 1 against. Is that epic bad luck or what?

What I can't figure is why any on-line site would engineer something like this, or how they'd accomplish this since there is no way of knowing ahead of time whether anyone will call or not with some pair less than kings or aces. Or how you'd even concoct a program to rig the RNG in this manner, or how this statistical anomaly wouldn't be noticed. Or even why they'd have any incentive to do this in the first place.

I asked this question a while ago, I asked if there is any algorithm that benefits certain players or people who deposit more, I got all kinds of answers. But I believe it does have some kind of advantages for certain players.

If you play any probability game you will have the same experience. For example, if you play sports betting, you will lose a lot of bets with a probability of 70% or more (goal in the last minute or improbable result that comes out of anywhere).

It's the same feeling, you're going to think that there's something going against you, that's the behavior of probabilities.

I don't know if it's fair, but I do understand that badbeats happen to all of us. I see no reason to suspect that they benefit some more than others.

There have been cases of collusion in the past but the software isn't fixed. Sometimes the cards can be evil but this can and does happen with live play too.
Hello everyone, I am really annoyed when I constantly hold bad or strong cards (very bad flops) when playing poker online, even when I have top pair or 2 pairs my opponent holds the barrel or straight when the river is dealt, are constantly badbeats for me and I wonder if online poker is really clean?v

In online poker, everyone has always had and will have ups and downs, only for some at a minimum, and for others at a maximum.

Look for big, well-known sites that are trustworthy, but bad things exist and it's normal to happen frequently.

I have a theory that the casino lets you win but it will also make you lose as a balance but it's luck the truth is there is no bad beat in a random system sometimes because it's boring or I have to go out and I want to give away my chips I end up beating an AA with 73

Poker can be like that. Live is no different, you just play the same number of hands and have a pessimistic mentality to understand this.

There are millions of real examples when poker became the main source of income for ordinary people. The industry is developing dynamically, a lot of events with multi-million dollar prize pools are appearing. During such events, newcomers get a unique chance to prove themselves. The art of playing poker will not be taught at school, so you will have to learn on your own.

Unfortunately, when I lose in a large percentage of my games, this happens to me as well... Usually the better hand comes to the opponent on the river... These happen in such a high proportion that many people think that there is fraud in online poker... I just I can tell you that you play in such a way that you expect the river to be bad for you!...

Good morning everyone, I trust that the main poker sites have an interest in keeping the games as fair as possible, but it is inevitable that there are players who find vulnerabilities in the sites and use this to profit through cheating.
I've read a lot of news about players who were banned, there was a case at GGpoker, where the player, according to the website, was able to see the equity he had on the flop and turn.
GGPoker released this Friday (29) a note clarifying the case of the player “MoneyTaker69”, who managed to obtain an illegal advantage by exploiting the room's software. The player was banned from the site's tables and had his winnings confiscated for refunds to those affected.
The question is this: Can the sites catch all the cheaters?
This one was caught because he was attracting attention with absurd plays in a row and making high profits, winning 90bb/100 in a cash game with a VPIP of 53%, scoring a Mtt of $150.
What if there are other players who are using this or other vulnerabilities and making small profits to avoid attracting attention and not getting caught?

Nobody is going to know until another moneytaker does something major enough to attract attention to it.

20+ year micro/low stakes player mainly pokerstars. If you're a micro/low stakes player on a regulated site like Pokerstars with there fairly clean history I wouldn't worry too much. If their cheating at micro/low stakes on Pokerstars they sure suck at it cause I'm just a meh-okish player at best(in my opinion) and I'm still a winning player and I haven't finished studying anything for new poker books or courses in 15+ years.

My advice poker is a great, fun and enjoyable hobby when played at micro/low stakes. Learn a TAG style of play, get a HUD deposit $50 and start gaining experience at 2nl full-ring on a regulated site that ain't the scummiest(GG poker) on the internet. After you get some experience feel comfortable with the player pool you can start adjusting your game to exploit the tendencies of the player pool till then just play a TAG style. It will keep you outta the toughest, hardest spots majority of the time and give the best chance of not losing your shirt as a new player while you learn poker, learn the player pool tendencies and gain experience.

Depending on your volume you wanna study and hand review weekly or bi-weekly I would assume. I like to keep my hand review sessions between 1-2 hours after that it starts to feel like work to me and well a hobby one does for fun should never feel like work.

You also don't need to be spending a dime on books or poker courses just yet. Plenty of good free stuff on the internet that's more then enough to beat micro/low stakes. Pay money for courses/books isn't needed to beat micro/low stakes. Again to start just play a TAG style and work on bankroll management, mental toughness /tilt control and patience.

Also take this sites 30-day course if you haven't already.

Cheers!!!

I’ve experienced your pain for many years now… until I go deep in a major- I will always be skeptical of the magical algorithms.
