i went 3 years without a PC because most of my poker sites work on a phone. Now that I have a Windows 11 PC i can play on pokerstars which my phone cannot access. I only have a 4pm Sunday game I play on the PC, otherwise 80 pct of the time I am using my phone to play and the PC is usually in its original box because I travel so much between houses. If there were more tournaments worth playing at the same time, I will jump on the PC, but these days seldom are there multiple good tourneys at once.

I play on my PC, I play on my phone, I play at home and at work. I rarely use my smartphone, only when I need to play and there is no PC nearby, or there is no connection, or there are problems with electricity.

I often use mobile normally for 888 as I can't stand the installation on a pc with the antivirus going ape saying it's a virus. I also like playing poker on my phone as I can take it with me to the toilet if I can't wait till the break, which I admit doesn't happen often. Also if WiFi lose connection then I can stay connected with 4g on my mobile, I don't want to have the connection loss when I'm a huge favourite to win with my FH like it did to me years ago as I was on a laptop grrrrrrr

I prefer Laptop but recently i have been experimenting with my smartphone and watching games whilst on Vacation, i agree with EG's comments above about the versatility of being able to take phone anywhere (including the toilet lol) for convenience sakes but i prefer a bigger screen so i can watch for the sneaky moves lmao.

Profitable poker is played on PC, smartphone can be played whether it's just 1 tournament or cash game.
On the PC you get a wide view of several tournaments simultaneously and on the cell phone you are generally playing lying down without focusing on your work.
