Do you have any knowledge of the game? Where do you feel more comfortable putting your money vs the players or vs the house. Hint* the house ALWAYS wins. slots pay back 90-96ish % over time you lose -EV poker is not easy but you can profit by playing with a solid understanding. You can get lucky and win against better players but you won’t win against better opponents enough to make a profit in the long run. You have to constantly learn and constantly improve your game to stay in the green. IMO if you aren’t going to put in the work you should just go with the slots.
Same industry “Entertainment” as in its meant for people to have fun doing. It’s a very small % that ever gets good enough to consistently make a profit. 100’s of thousands of hands played millions even and as much strategy as you can absorb and practice. That is why I am quitting… right as soon as I die. ❤️

For some players, yes, for others, no. Everything is individual and depends primarily on the personal attitude to the game. For me, poker is more of a sport than a game of chance, so in my opinion, poker is not very similar to slots or other casino games, even blackjack. The reason is my attitude to this game.

Yes and no, both have algorithms and are based on luck, but the casino returns based on what is played on that machine, poker returns prizes randomly based on the gameplay (often these algorithms are so unrealistic that they help players who don't know)

We can gamble with anything, not just poker or casino games. Unfortunately, we can even use both sides of a coin to gamble, but we have to be sure that gambling in poker with “good” players will have sad results and more losses if we don’t care.
