The internet connections are usually very stable now.

But 20 years ago: The tilt factor when you pushed in a lot of money with the nuts on the river(but not all-in) - and you lost the connection and had to restart the computer.

Being at a final table of a tournament that cost $5, we only had four players left IVA first in chips and a storm knocked me offline and I finished the tournament without knowing what happened. In the end I finished fourth. What a rage

More than once, including the other day. I was actually playing 2 tournaments at the time, both freerolls. I didn't cash in either and had a slight chance of cashing in one. The cut out was my own fault but it would be too embarrassing to tell you what I did.

I've missed some games before, but missing a game is still not as bad as when you pay for it, play and during the game comes the connection lost.
How many SNGs have already floated like this...
It feels almost as bad as running into a bad beat.

It's happened several times that I've been in a hand betting flop, betting turn and on the river my net drops, this has happened to me several times and one of the times I got to the river with like 2 blinds betting almost everything and the internet dropped
In periods when my internet is unreliable I avoid putting most of my chips in the pot without going all in. That way if my internet goes out for a short period, I am still in the hand. Does hamper proper tactics a bit though.

For some reason, sometimes losing my life makes me miss good games. And when the network came back, I was angry - why did I lose my life at the moment, I should have been able to add some pretty big chips if I didn't lose the network.

I once registered for a freeroll, and before the game started I was called away to help a Friend who was in a jam, Thinking I could possibly get back to it, I left the House to go help him, unfortunately it took far longer than I expected, So returning to my home much later I found to my diss-belief I had actually cashed in it, Only a few Cents but hey a win is a win right!
One of my biggest reasons for playing very low stake Poker on-line is because things can happen beyond your control, Computer Crashes, or Power Outages, there is nothing you can do to avoid them.
I won a Ticket Freeroll where the top five places won a $111.00 Ticket to the Final, and the rest got an $11.00 Satellite Ticket totalling a $1,000.00 Freeroll.
Having won one of the Top Tickets I was looking forward to the Final where I could possibly win a lot more, unfortunately my Power went out and I couldn't play in the Tournament, I was gutted, but better to lose $111.00 Virtual money than lose the real thing!
Such is Life! You just have to accept it.

It was horror internet times!

I still use service from two different internet providers, just in case - even last lost internet connection was 5/6 months ago on maybe 5 minutes... lol

It happened to me only a few days ago on Replay. The blind timer was counting down but everything else had frozen. I quickly exited and rebooted the table from the lobby only to find I'd just 'folded' KK.

I had an old 1 GIG computer and mobile Internet, which sometimes froze in the middle of tournaments, now I bought a new 8 GIG computer and connected cable Internet and now everything is fine.

In the early days of poker, it happened more than I want to remember. Today it's more of a rarity to lose the connection. Now I did not too long ago lose power and lost my connection, but does that count? Yeah, i think so too.

I've been playing in extreme conditions every day for the past few months. Due to russian attacks on our energy infrastructure, our electricity is often cut off, sometimes for more than 14 hours a day. Playing poker in such conditions is very difficult. The connection also constantly fails, the heat, lack of electricity, the conditions are very difficult.
