Do you mean in live poker or online? I mark the games online with colors and that indeed helps me with some decisions. In live poker, I usually unconsciously notice the conspicuousness of the opponent and act accordingly.

I used to keep notes but lost them all when Ontario switched and I needed a new App and don’t play those same people anymore
Since then I really haven’t played much poker but hope to get back into it through the winter months.
