it's not advisable to play on a smartphone or tablet but you can use it as a troubleshooting solution if you encounter a technical malfunction on your pc during a tournament

I'm playing 50%/50% nowadays. I started to play more since pokerstars made the vertical tables on mobile, so much better!

I prefer playing on mobile.
I honestly think it’s better for MTT.

Of course I only play MMT.
If I do SNG or cash - I prefer computer.

I used to when I played for play money. GoP3 FTW. If you are playing for real money best to have a pc.

Honestly I play for real money and find phone easier.
Always connected to the internet - if I have to go somewhere or do something I don’t miss any hands - just as easy to look up placement to calculate odds, etc.

Of course I don’t use a UI - don’t like them.

I could not play with out my HUD. I don't think they can be on mobile.

I love being able to switch to the phone if I have to prep a meal or something, but way prefer a big screen.

Why do you do worse with UI?

Probably because I play the person instead of game theory.

I do better in big tournaments when I stick to game theory.

Moreover I don’t multi table. so a lot of the stats I can gage over a single game.

I also like this opportunity, and I use the phone very rarely and only in such cases.

Hi, recently i just crush my two laptops displays beside of that i have to move to another city and for two months i don't know how much poker i could play in the internet. Two weeks ago my internet connection was lost and i have to play from the mobile phone which have an android system which is great for the apps, but this thing doesn't work so well for, i lost around 100$ and i decided to remove the app from the phone and until i will fix my laptop and the internet connection i will not play anymore. What do you think about poker app? You play from your mobile phone?
Hello! :ciao:
Of course, it's more convenient to play on a laptop. But there is no fundamental difference for me: I can safely play from my phone. In your case, most likely, it's a matter of habit: you are used to playing on a laptop, and when you started playing on a phone with a smaller screen, you subconsciously experienced discomfort. This condition may well affect your game.
There are two ways out: practice playing on your phone (for example, for free chips) to get used to it, or rather fix your laptop:D

I have had a similar situation before. Then, when I switched to the app/browser on my phone, it was frustrating because there weren't as many features in the lobby, and I constantly had issues with the screen not loading properly and having the action buttons cropped out of screen. I forget which browser solved the problem, but needless to say I wasn't profitable when I played. I enjoy playing on my iPhone13 Pro Max now. but prefer to play on a laptop with a wireless mouse and keyboard with an additional monitor/TV (dual screens), and bluetooth speaker/home sound system. Sometimes I'll where headphones if I'm playing around others, but I don't like to play around others. I also like to have a workspace with post it notes around, food, etc, "The Pregame and the post-game are more important than the game" -Gripsed.com
Im trying to get used to playing on my phone by playing at lower stakes, like an .80 cent buy-in, in a 1c/2c cash game where i can just stop if i need to catch a bus or get off the bus, etc, and not care if i lose... haha, these sessions are typically shorter between 2-5 min. :)

Good Luck!

I only play from the computer. It's convenient and comfortable for me. Unfortunately, I can't physically play on my phone. Although why unfortunately.:D:D:D

I should add - I only prefer mobile if it’s an actual App - designed to work seamlessly with whatever device you are on.

I hated mobile until it was legalized in MI and we actually got AppStore quality app.

I really like to play both on the phone and on the computer, but still the most pleasant way for me to play one table is with the ipad (if only there was enough battery power). As for the phone - please do not play while driving or on the road! Take care of yourself!

Many people prefer to play from a laptop or PC, and I also belong to this number of players. But .. if you are good at poker, then it makes no difference what to ride. The only drawback of the mobile application is that it is really not convenient to play more than two tables. I have a friend who successfully plays with a mobile application. He plays one tournament completely immersed in it and wins prizes, and at that time I lose from the PC in four tournaments) .. It happens so ..

I play my poker from my laptop not on my phone. It is easier to play more than one table as it would happen on the phone.

It seems to me that the phone has a very good advantage in order to play from almost anywhere in the world, the main thing is only the Internet. At the moment it seems to me that a more or less normal phone is quite like a small computer and for poker it is quite enough
