I have never been to any live poker tournament but when I does I'll make sure to wear sunglasses so nobody can take advantage of my eye movements as a read.

I wouldn't, mainly because I'd probably misread the cards with my aging vision if I did, hahaha. But I suppose if you don't trust your acting abilities or your ability to hide your emotions you might. But if you are wearing glasses, I'll be looking for other tells anyway... so (shrug)

It's a Good Idea

I do not consider it rude to wear dark glasses at the table

It conceals the involuntary reaction of the pupils of your eyes
when you get a big hand

Skilled observers at the table can pick up on this "tell" to their advantage

This, obviously, is not beneficial to your game

So, I think it's a good strategy to wear dark glasses at the poker table

I feel sunglasses are definitely needed at times, but for the most part I wear prescription Eyewear. Lol I can't see without.

I enjoy the occasional pair of sunglasses, but I don't require them to pull-off wins. Some of my most successful times at casinos were when I played as myself. Sunglasses may hide the eyes, but they don't hide emotions and nervous ticks. If someone wants to wear them, then game on. In the end the cards will decide their fate.

People who wear sunglasses indoors are creepy. Like the ones who talk to their pets as if they were people.

I've never been to a live poker tournament so I've never worn sunglasses at the table! But if I have the opportunity to attend a live poker tournament, I will definitely wear glasses! I don't see anything wrong with that when the opponent sits and plays with glasses! Good luck at the tables!

It is a choice Players make & it makes no difference to me. I don't need to stare down someone to determine the correct play.

Not usually, but i understand that there are small reactions that can be hidden with it, I just don't think it makes as much difference as people think.

I wear sun glasses when I play online. What are you people talking about. If your playing for change with friends it doesn't matter. But if you are playing for a living you probably playing with skilled players looking to take advantage of any tells. Eyes are really hard to hide. You have law enforcement groups that all they do is watch video to see if your body language gives info if your untruthful.

Hoodies have become real popular because it hides even more information.

Wearing sunglasses at poker tables demonstrates the lack of security of the player in them they hide emotions where they can have bad hands or good projects I personally believe that they hide the ocular behavior of each player I personally would not wear sunglasses

I do not, but what others wear is up to them. It is a game of advantages, so do what ever helps you. That includes getting others mad or frustrated, which is all part of poker. Just do not invade my space, that makes it personal and I will respond. Anything else, do your best, I can ignore it.

No need to wear sunglasses. I can be read like a open book If i have a great hand I'm practically dancing and saying OH YEAHHHHHHHH1!! Sometimes they think I'm bluffing and call my all-in. Suprise, no bluff.
