for example, not paying your debts, looking at cards and so on. that that would be the greatest sin at a poker table. and that you'd be banned from playing and probeblly get your head knocked out a few times.

Same goes for playing pool in Jersey... depending where ya live, someone may just "take care" of your problem for ya

Perhaps my associate, Vini, and I could be of assistance. We specialize in bahavior modification, financial negotiation, and unconventional debt collection. In other words, sounds like he needs his ass kicked! Only poker I would give him is a fireplace poker in the nads.

lol, dont get me wrong if i could kick randys a$$ i would. but the guy is pretty tough. i know it fom personal experience and the great stories he tells me. he claims to be a great pool player and said that on time he won this miracle game for $800 (like the eight ball barely rolled into the pocket, and that was the last ball left for both players). anyway the other guy demanded the money back or another game and when randy refused the guy stuck a pool cue up randys nose. after that randy punched him in the nose and the guy got scared.

what sickens me in all this is that this guy knows the importance of paying when you gamble and yet he refused to pay me.

Start a blog, edit this story, get advertisers, put up with some of his BS and make a buck off him. Then 6 months from now, use the ad money buy a new car, and tell him he was your inspiration. Don't forget to add a picture of him.

Arrak, tell your roommate that I'm heading to NY next month and I'll take pleasure in making him disappear, there no place better for a freeloader than in a hole in the ground.

if someone wants to be nice, i'd greaty appreciate it! if you're a member at that other poker forum, could you post my first 3 posts plus my other posts too that would be great. i think most of you have found this to be an entertaining story and i want to get the most feedback possible. thanks guys.

Heh heh,

I used to be a moderator there. Randy is probably a member.

Much nicer people here. Take their advice.

Incidentally if this is a spoof post it's genius.

OK. I could be wrong, but I think since he's got 23 years or so on you, he thinks he can play you and get away with murder doing it. So far, he's done just that, and is probably having a ball.

Now with that said, I'd still call his behavior , (especially for a 45-yr-old), pretty f**kin unstable. If it were me, and I'm glad it's not, I'd give the landlord notice, and get the hell out. If you kick him out, (and he actually GOES), he still knows where you live. I wouldn't trust him not to do something really harmful to you when you're least expecting it. Sounds like the type to hold a grudge, and if he thinks you were wrong to kick him out, and gets really pissed .... who knows? Better to be safe than to be in a hospital bed in traction.

Also, you are way too young to have this kinda crap be the most important thing happening in your life. (sounds pretty time consuming). MOVE ON, and start having fun, for God's sake. Life's too short. ;)

Good luck

no way, randy would charge him the amount in advertising revenue for rights to "his" story, haha.

If it is a spoof, it's great and you need to start publishing. If it's true, you need to do something about numbnuts. See suggestions above. I like the change the locks thing. I'd also say that while you are putting his possessions on the curbside (by the dumpster) fairly take what reasonably adds up to what he owes you (plus a fee for the manual labor of moving his crap out because of him).

i didn't make this up, i mean why would i? i posted in this in a non poker forum and quite a few people thought i was making it up. the story is 90%-100% true. if you think im making it up, please explain why or what you mean? i guess i'm a bit of a sucker now that i've paid him $70. i suppose i could have just stopped at a certain point and hoped he'd eventually pay me. the thing is he was such a ba$tard. one time i went into his room to ask him about when he could pay me. he told me to: "leave my sanctuary, this is my sanctuary now get out." i refused to leave until he told me about paying his debts then he grabed a chair and thretened to hit me with it if i didn't leave. so i left. ever time i asked him about the money hed just say lets play another game, it became like a rehtorical answer to the question when will you pay me any money? anyway him having an extra $70 just really shows what a loser he is.

by the way randy took off for a week to the valley. maybe when his back i could sneak a picture of him and post his scam artist face online. also like i told you guys earlier he'd be just to curious not to read this post. he only read the first 3 posts of mine and said that i should print him out a copy of the rest of it for when he comes back. what an id!ot i think he enjoys all the attention. ohh and he also added that he'd like to add his side of the story and post it online. i said sure whatever. i mean he pretty much agreed that all of which i wrote was true except a few little details. for example he claims that i never asked him about how much he could afford to pay but he offered to pay me $500 at the most. dosen't that make him look like even more of a d!ck, i mean what a retard!?!

Didn't mean anything by it. The story just seems like quite the soap opera. And such elaborate details. But hey, if it's true, then you need to do something about him. Don't know what else we can tell you. Yeah, based on the info you supplied he is a real jerk with some big issues and needs to be cut loose. Kick him out to start and recoup your losses. Not much else to it.

Oh, and if I give any more advice, you'll owe me like $140 too. :p j/k...we'll just call it $70.

ok cool, never thought so many people would think this is such a great story! since quite a few of you are mentioning that i should get this story published, not sure if you guys actually mean it or are just saying that for kicks. but if i could publish this story, i would. if i could get some money for it then great and if not then that would be ok too.

but where the hell would i publish it??? i was thinking that if their are any short story poker books about poker stories, are their any in the making or already made (and they might come out with a second addition)? that would be kinda cool, but where could i find that kind of info? also would any high rolling online sites not just poker find this amusing enough? if you guys know of any then let me know. either post online or email me at: michael_arrak@hotmail.com

by the way i did call a local newspaper today and i mentioned the story and gave them the link to read it. they said they'd call me back if they are interested. doubt ill get any money for it but ill get a kick outa having it in the local paper, that would really shut randy up. although im not sure if its suitable reading material in that sort of paper.

Maybr there isn't a book there, but you'd be a shoe-in for a Jerry Springer type show. A 22 year old male, lives with his family AND has a single male un-related 45 year old room-mate

The OP is the best first post ever.

Randy needs to go get laid or something (although the chances of that happening appear to be slim).

Kick him out...tell him he's got a couple days before his belongings are removed.

I think this is more of a social problems in society/living with people you can't stand...not a poker problem. Probably shouldn't have been posted here, and you should probably find people you know to solve your personal problems with breaking tables, washing dishes, etc, instead of total strangers...unless you want to tell us his full name, and post a picture so the word is spread throughout the world that Randy --- is a cheap, dishonest SOB...see, now that would be fun! It's not slander if it's true!... Just my opinion.

Send Randy to Georgia for a pool match challenge with Dakota. He will lose.... and he will pay. (Geno - if you and your friends would be so kind to come down and moderate lol). If not my redneck brothers wouldn't let him leave the state in one piece.

BTW - we would love for Randy to post his side of the story.

Hey Dakota!! You set it up and we'll take a road trip. Georgia's gotta be warmer than it is up north right now.
