Ok Hmm I dont have a clue how to play AK tbh so I will have to research it or chat about it with others. Interesting though how you to vary opinions on it!

So what are you doing if we switch your cards to AK here?

poker stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
Hand History Converter by Stoxpoker

Hero (MP1): $25 (100 bb)
MP2: $23 (92 bb)
MP3: $32.75 (131 bb)
CO: $8.25 (33 bb)
BTN: $4.30 (17.2 bb)
SB: $44.45 (177.8 bb)
BB: $38.35 (153.4 bb)
UTG: $24.50 (98 bb)
UTG+1: $13.85 (55.4 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is MP1 with A K
UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $3.50, 6 folds, UTG calls $3.25, UTG+1 raises to $6.50, Hero ???

Are you just flatting his min 3bet? Folding? I don't like either option OOP here, so I'd push.

I'm not saying you have to just push with AK every time (hell I've folded it many times preflop) but in this hand, I wouldn't do anything different holding AK than you did with AA.

Dont know If this is the correct move or not? whats everybodys view on it

With a,k in the spot wv mentioned, its a clear shove imo with utg's dead money in the pot and a half stack 4 betting, full stacks is kinda meh, and the reason why i quit full ring and holdem :p

I'm not sure if you flatting or 4betting ( was a little confused with the post).

But if you 4 bet here you might as well push. He's already showed enough strength to call a 4 bet, and if you feel your hands good enough here, you might as well get it in. I wouldn't worry about UTG calling with two betters out there going at it.

Againt a 50BB im shipping with AK there every time.
If he had 100BB i probably fold cause min 3bets scare the shit out me.
But seeing how u had him dubed as a retard im probably still shipping against him.

Honestly in this hand the only person we should be concerned with (UTG) has a full stack. UTG+1 has 1/2 his short stack in so he's basically irrelevant. I'm shoving into the UTG limp/caller and making him make a decision for his 100bb stack. If called my AK gets to see 5 cards (which it likes) and the 1/2 stacks $$ more than make up for the times we get in really bad (against AA).

sorry bud, I would flat the UTG+1s re raise and if UTG raised again I would be folding.

25NL Has been a big learning curve for me and for those who said its not much of a difference IMO atm I am experiencing major differences. Maybe I was too aggressive at 10NL but I will make a blog post tomorrow about what I have found so far and the comparision between the 2 and post here.

Stats wise I have only played 2.5k hands, running at 2.43/100 and +~1BI just over. Strictly playing 4-6 tables atm really focusing on playing proper poker.

Make your wish come true, I bet there would be some really difficult/tricky/interesting strategy talk in there with all the math geniuses like zach/chuck and belgo.
