General Rules:
**First: Do Not Play Out Of Position!
**Second: Patience, Patience, Patience!
**Third: Do Not play when you are tired, drunk or on tilt!

Rules for "Limit Holdem Tables" Ring Games only:
BLUFFING**at low limit "Limit tables" bluffing is very rare..if someone is betting like he has
a better hand than you ..."he does"
FLOP**If the flop did not improve your hand or give you a damn good draw...fold! (even if the flop
is rags and you are holding AK suited-Never pay to see turn just because you have great overcards.)
LOW PAIR**low pair in the hole..No flop-Drop!
HOLE CARDS**Do not fall in love with your hole cards(ie: you've got QQ in the hole the flop comes
AJJ-Fold unless you can stay for free!)
INSIDE STRAIGHT**Never pay to see the turn or river with inside straight
HEAVY BETTING**if there is a straight showing on the board with heavy betting and you don't have
the nut straight or you are still on a draw for the nut straight...fold!! Any time there is heavy betting,
take a close look at the board and see how your hand would hold up to all possible hands showing.

Thanks for these tips/rules.
Sure hope i could memorize them... :)

Good for beginners but playing out of position works well with premium hands or if you have a lot of post flop edge on your opponents.

#3 ...or sick, or stuck (you've lost money and think you can 'get it back'). Otherwise, great rules.

Do not play out of Position: It depends if you get a nice hand and everybody folds before you? I had pay UTG and won! :deal:

I generally don't play out of position unless I'm prepared to really commit to the hand.

So no speculative calls with a pair of threes or the like as backing down to a shove is just throwing chips away.

Still hold true. Although chasing straights at times can turn a profit. You only have to catch it once out of ten to make a profitable play

Hmmm, well..... of course there are hands , I am not folding because I am out of position, I find that much of my postflop edge comes from playing in position!! But to each his own. I know that any hand I like out of position, I would love much more in position. HaHa

Despite playing position at the table. No problem to access 78 suited from UTG..
In online poker position at the table is not so important unfortunately.. :(
The rest well said :)

good advice. I will print it and keep it by my computer. Sometimes I am not sure which way to go. this will at least give me a guideline.
