I have QQ . I raised 4x 2 opponents call flop comes 7 10 J I bet 3/4 of pot both opponents calls. Turn comes another 10. What should I do now if I was in early position? Should I bet again or check.

Moved this to Learning Poker since you did not specify whether it was a cash game or tournament. Let me know and I can move to that analysis section.

Hi Hitman
I think you have to be more specific when you are asking for help. However, let me try to give you my opinion about this hand if this hand had been played in a tournament.

1) You have to open raise depending of your table and your position. If this one is loose and you have too many calling stations sometimes you have to open until 5x In any potition. If is tight 2.5 x to 3 x is good for me. if you receive a Re raise it depends of the player who you are playing against and you would have to call or make a 4 bet.

2) I always make a Cbet around 80-90% of the time and this flop I had bet 1/2 of the pot.
3) In the next street turn I had checked and call if one of these players bet because their range of cards is unknown for you.
4) In the river I hope to get a blank and make check call.
well, every player thinks different and has different way to play a single hand . I hope I have helped with my point of view.

Sir I like the answer it was a cash game and I hold QQ . 2 opponent 1 from mid position and villain from cut of called my 4x preflop raise. Flop comes 7spades 10 hearts J spades. I bet 3/4 of pot mid pos. Fold, and villain called from cut off turn comes J of diamond , I check he Bet pot size I call. River comes 9of spade I checked again he bet all-in and I fold . He show K10. What should I do in this situation . He makes me fold

Assuming we have no information on villains i would generally just bet again Jx and draws make up a large part of villains range. If the turn gets raised we can think about folding.

Online Hold'em

Once you’ve figured out basic and intermediate Texas Hold ‘em strategies, it’s time to move on to more advanced theories. As is the case at any level of sophistication, you’ll want to adapt complex strategies to your own natural style. This and much more I described on https://casinoanalyser.com/holdem

mark down a note on this and use it

villian does not have nutt flush or straight he doesnt even have 3 of a kind or TOP pair..... he is really aggro mad something... you can learn from this by his play and use it against him in future.....

I would check after I would see what the opponent will do after his action if he adds chips on the turn to call if he adds on the river, then discard or if it is small bet but you have to play carefully

Check is almost equal to showing that you are giving up. Some villains would then try to steal the pot with bet on the river to take over. Using T as a scary card and possible straight alike board they could go large, it would be hard to call in some spots if its bluff. And if they really caught you're ****ed already anyway.
If villain seems to be playing straightforward till now I would check and then maybe call, if more aggro I would go with bet if not short stacked.

Hello brother.
Look, I'll tell you the truth.
I at least will not analyze your play.
you wonder why??? Well I'll tell you, in cash tables I've been playing for a long time almost only with mathematical possibilities.
For me at a cash table AA and 22 is almost the same.
You have QQ, you do the previous work well, and they pay you with any stupidity.
That's why friends would clarify if it was an MTT or a cash table.
In an MTT you have a stack and you must try to increase it, with strategy, with skill, with luck, or with bluffs. But you must constantly make decisions to increase that stack and not leave the MTT soon.
On the other hand, at a cash table, you have guys with huge wallets in front of you and they pay you with the most idiotic card combination you can find.
It seems more like they do it on purpose. They say to themselves "I raise the bet, will I have AA??? I won't beat him with my 72?? and they pay you. They get 22 or 77 at the showdown and all your great play went to hell.
That is my thought of the cash tables. It is NOT pessimistic but realistic.
And if not look, one of the greatest players in history Phil Hellmuth, watch the videos of him and most of his tantrums are caught at the cash tables.
That is my humble thought brother.
Greetings and I hope you have success at the tables:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

you are in early position in a game of poker and the turn card has just been dealt, whether to bet or check depends on several factors, including your hand strength, the texture of the board, and your opponents' playing styles.

I don't understand poker to be honest, but I asked an friend who certainly does. He is the one who wrote one of the most detailed poker pages on the internet, so I'm sure it will be a good read for you since you are interested.

I would check and wait what happens… if by some chance they make a straight or even triple 10s then your hand is no good .. better some gain than losing all your chips .

I think the likelihood of A10 K10 or a weaker 10 calling the second 3/4 bet is very low!!! More likely it's AJ, KJ, KQ, set or straight!!! If you check there is a good chance one of the players will try to steal your money by betting with a straight draw or Jx so by checking you will be putting yourself in front of a difficult choice so I would continue to be aggressive!!!

Please take note that this is the opinion of a tournament player!!!

Will check. Your opponent may have 10. You should listen to your opponent's play and then play carefully on the turn and river.

Poker is a game of uncertainty. Our experiences shape our perceptions, which in turn shape our assumptions. There are two main parts to any poker decision: logic and assumptions. The logic of a good line is always the same - choose the optimal line with the highest +EV. And guesswork is what we think about our opponents' ranges. If people had agreed from the very beginning on certain initial assumptions, then they would all have arrived at one optimal line. However, to achieve this, players will need patience and calm communication.
