With JJ in preflop all in you are better against:
Any pocket pair from 22 to TT and against AA (AK are flipping and need straigh/ flush against AA and JJ dominates and has 2 outs against AA)
Any A from A2 to AJ and flipping against AQ/AK
Against KK is 2 outs against 3 outs from AK
And against all other hands (9Ts 89s JTs) JJ has a huge advantage (80-20 / 70-30 situation) and AK has a little advantage (60-40)

So: JJ is better in much more situations then AK. Then i'll go with JJ
Post flop i prefer AK. With JJ almost everytime you are in a bad situation against Q/K/A high flop and some flush draws situations

Yesterday I played a tournament, got into the money, showed the usual game. Pairs 77-JJ have always played all-in against aggressive players. When I was called, I often saw AQ, AK, AK, but never saw a pair. I won 6 out of 7 all-ins, this is an excellent statistic. So of course JJ is better

I prefer both, for two hole cards both are very good, but by the eventual showdown five more cards will be dealt, maybe jacks are better and maybe AK, and maybe none are good. If we finish the job earlier, then both are equally good.

Hello
It is a somewhat complex situation, because there have been cases where even if you have high cards (AK) and even the same suit on the flop, armed cards come out that do not go with yours, that is why I consider that having a pair (JJ ) is better than waiting for the flop or river. why based on your cards (pair of JJ) you could project a better ending.
regards

I want to say that i absolutely refuse the Jiggities ....i have always been a believer in the Church of AK as Kevin Martin says :D .
No but seriously even if it's a flip ,most of the times AK will dominate AQ,AJ and so on ,but pocket Jacks can be easily outdrawn by KQ ,AQ and so on.
So it's a deffinetly AK for me.

lost with them

I have lost with AK more than I can count and its usually on the river. With JJ its usually on the flop that gets me. uggh frustrating that I'm this bad lol

JJ has a slight mathematical advantage, but AK, has advantage too - when you hold AK, the chance someone else holds AA or KK is reduced contrary to JJ case.

Position is everything. Especially online, I see either hand as an automatic trigger for folks to shove and start praying. I prefer JJ
