Generally it's the elimination before the money - i.e., 170 players get paid, 171st is the bubble boy.

I been here for years and I'm not sure, but what I take it as meaning is

'eh, so what?' or "who cares?' or 'boring!' or 'not important'

all with an attitude.......

A nit is a very very very tight player, they usually have a vp$ip of under 10% and their aggression preflop and postflop is very low. Usually when a nit raises they have it and you can fold some of your quality hands preflop.

so if you are holding something like AQs in the big blind and a nit raises you preflop from the cutoff it is very easy to fold this. But usually nits dont raise preflop and just limp.

a Nit is a Tag without the aggression.
Thank you as I was wondering to what a NIT is.

a rainbow flop means three different suits - if someone says "the turn completes the rainbow", it's four suits (i.e., no flush is possible).

Someone says we are peeling the flop, is this just calling? Any difference between peeling and floating?

Yes, it's just calling.

When you float, you're intending to attempt to take the pot on a later street, frequently by stealing (i.e., in position, call flop cbet, villain checks turn, hero bets with or without a made hand). Peeling doesn't imply an intention to steal on a later street, frequently we're peeling the flop to see if our equity improves on the turn.

F*** My Life" is what FML stands for as far as I know... there may be other usages of FML but I do not know of any other than this.

You should play tight in the beginning, wait for good hands and take chips off donkeys. As the tournament progresses the blinds will catch up and you'll have to loosen up, stealing blinds when in position will also help in the latter stages.

Also, don't be disheartened if you nearly miss the money or get beat by a hand inferior to yours, this'll happen a lot of times as the donks will be willing to shove with ATC!
