Yes, I doubled KK, and also because I didn't know how to do it I lost an all-in of 17 USD preflop, in my head I knew I had AA but I had a hard time making the decision and I decided badly to play them. It's important to always stay calm and know how to throw hands like this when necessary.

I haven't experienced a similar situation yet so I can't say my point of view.

But if the prize jump is large and there is a player with fewer chips about to fall, I think it is important to opt for folding the hand.

Yes, it all depends on the preflop moves

Hello friend, I think a couple of times, before the bubble I think there were two, the opponent or villain was the chip leader and he was having luck and even took out another player with pair of 2, today he was going to do it in the tournament cardschat, in the initial stages but I didn't follow my intuition and I lost against AKo, but it's part of the game greetings

I never fold KK or AA, although it's pokerstars it's very easy to lose with those hands.

This is a very interesting subject, i am just wondering here if anyone has ever folded KK preflop, and the situation that you were in to do that. I have heard pros discuss this topic before and would like to hear your views. On a buble situation i can understand but from my POV i cant fold it if not in that position.
Once at the final table I had to fold KK before the flop.
Indeed, the one who threw there had AK and the Ace came up!
It's more than all intuition and stack size, if my stack exceeded it x2 or x3 I would pay! but he covered me and I preferred to fold because it was an expensive tournament

I only fold KK if I have a very good read that vill only has AA when they are raising/3betting.

The other time is if I'm playing for a big target satty and I'm close to getting the ticket

I folded a few times with KK preflop, but it was always because of the bubble, and also because whoever was going to play after me had more chips than me. The fear of being left out of the ITM was stronger.

Yes, believe it or not. It was in a live trny after a 4 bet. Luckily it was early, and I was in the 2nd seat when the BB raised it to a nice even 15x BB after I had raised it 3.5x and then that was raised to around 7-bigs. I knew my kings were no good and was validated when the other raiser shoved and was called by the BB w/AA. The dog held AK, so I felt good.

I already left KK pre-flop because I had a lot of chips and received an all-in from a player with a lot of chips as well. If I paid and lost I would be in a very bad situation at the tournament. I preferred not to risk it.

If I throw KK preflop, it means that I am waiting to play only AA, better not to play anymore!

I think I have never folded KK before preflop because there is high chance of winning by KK and if ace comes in flop then I might fold seeing the situation..

First lesson in poker. Never fold good hand pre flop. But there is only one situation to do it. When you are close to the prize money , and you feel that , to fold is right play.
