Spano is in trouble as he has A Kand Templeton has KK. The flop though is golden for Spano as it comes AJ9. The turn is the 10giving a split pot opportunity for Templeton. Templeton needs either the case King to win the pot or a Queen (not of diamonds) to split the pot. The river...KING! the Khits and the table explodes in cheers because they have made the final table. Chau Giang Bullying Table
Chau Giang has been pushing around his table in the last two hands by making pot-sized bets on the flop to drive out any players who had stuck around preflop. He's been doing this despite having an only slightly above-average stack at $30,000 (average is around $24,000, while the chip leader, Tommy Smith, is currently sitting with $65,000).

The flop comes JJ4, a miracle for O'Donnell, giving him the lead over both players. The turn and river are meaningless when they bring the 2and the 9to triple up O'Donnell to $36,000 with trip Jacks. Vaswani takes $10,600 from Antonius in the side-pot with his Queens and now sits with $21,200. Antonius' stack is down to a still respectable $33,400 after the hand, but a huge chunk was taken from him by both Vaswani and O'Donnell.

"The Energizer" Roots Against Himself
Mark "The Energizer" Teltscher was all-in preflop just before the last break with 6's versus his opponent's A-K. Counter-intuitively, Teltscher was yelling for an Ace or King as the flop, turn and river were dealt. He had no success, however, as his 6's held up and he raked in the pot to double up to around $20,000. Another player at the table said that he was rooting against himself because he had a side-bet with Juha Helppi regarding players busting before the break and would stand to make more money by losing his race in that hand.
Teltscher apparently has a lot of trouble going bust, as he now sits with $50,500, putting him among the chip leaders.

Sat Jul 22 23:49:00 PDT 2006
Blinds Increase
Level 10 has now begun. The blinds are now $600 and $1,200.
