WSOP 2014 - Cardschat's Little One for One Drop Promotion

Hi all,

I'm Shauna, some of you may know me online and on other forums as AAmaz0n. I started playing poker in the long long ago in the days of the Silver Slipper, Frontier and Desert Inn, mostly in between long sessions of blackjack.

Online, I played all the sites from the early days of IRC until Black Friday, and have been haunting the SoCal card rooms since the turn of the century.

This will be my third WSOP, and hopefully my best. Looking forward to meeting everyone and running good in Vegas.

While not nearly as accomplished as most of you I have gross online earnings of around $150K and a couple of wsop cashes including the latest which was 6th in the WSOP Cherokee Circuit ladies event (the one where Dakota finished 3rd) last month and 16th in the 6 max event the year before. I have played poker since 2008, primarily online even since Black Friday. My overall online ROI is around 35% over more than 10K MTT/SNGs.

This is actually my first trip to Vegas, yes ever, and my first time to play in any WSOP events. I'm looking forward to the experience and being part of this team.

I am Nancy Birnbaum - an accomplished poker player and successful business woman. Prior to becoming one of the most successful women poker players, I was a top producer with BMW for over 20 years.

Upon leaving BMW, I sold real estate in Sarasota, Florida for 7 years and was ranked in the top 1% out of 15,000 agents in the Sarasota County Board of Realtors.

Thank you Lisa I miss playing on pokerstars in the FCP and cardschat games. I hardly ever play online any more since black Friday. Only the occasional private game. I play a lot of live cash games at the casinos nearby and hope to get a big score in Vegas.

I started playing online poker in 2008 and never deposited on any of the sites. I discovered the cardschat forum and some others and did well starting with the private freerolls. I don't have large scores like some of the members in this thread, but I had an awesome week in January at Thunder Valley's Heartland Poker Tour doing 2 chops for about 3k each and then I pressed my luck in the HPT main event but didn't cash:

Then that weekend I had a sick day on Lock Poker in a $109 mtt that I freerolled into winning $1200 and getting 2nd place in Carbon's special $1 dollar frenzy 10k added tourney getting 2nd place for $1600.

Last fall I played a couple Lake Tahoe WSOP circuit warm up events, but didn't cash. I hope to do well in Vegas event #60 July 1st and then the Little Drop July 3rd. I will also try 1 or 2 main event 1k satellites.
