HA HA HA! Love it! But wasn't it because "IT was rigged... Johnny saw the 'pattern', went with it & won!"I never told anybody this but about 8-9 months ago I'm at the Taj and it's late and I see Johnny Chan walk-in and he goes and sits $300/$600 and you know the whole place stops, Johnny Chan walks in. Everybody puts an eye on him. After a little while there wasn't a Craps game going cause, they're sitting around and they're watching him. Some of them sit down to play with this guy and they're giving away their money to him to say "Oh I sit and played with a World Champion"
You know what I did? I sat down...
And yeah, I needed 50 - 60 grand to play right in that game... Well, I had 5 big blinds (After emptying out my savings) I managed to play for about an hour folding mostly. But then it was time to make a score.. I had rags, I had nothin.. But pfft. he raised and I decided I don't care about the money I'm going to outplay the guy I'm going to outplay him this hand..
I re-raised and he just came back over top of me trying to bully me like I was some tourist... I hesitated for like 2 seconds.. I'll re-raise. And he makes a move towards his cheques and he looks at me and then he called getting great odds and I lost.
My most memorable hand was heads up against Richard Seymour, 3 time Super Bowl winner with New England Patriots. It was after about 15 hours of play right at the end of Day 1 of the 2019 wsop Colossus, and I was getting low on chips. I knew that I would have to go all-in to make it to Day 2 and the money, so I went all-in with pocket 8s. Richard Seymour called me with AJ...my 8s held up and I made it to Day 2, so I at least got a min cash...BTW...lasted only an hour on Day 2. The atmosphere of the WSOP was incredible. I would compare playing in a regular live casino game to the WSOP as seeing a high school football game, then going to the Super Bowl."What is the hand you remember most, either because of the excitement of winning it or the frustration of losing it? Tell us what happened and how you handled the situation."
AA, it always makes me almost crazy both when you lose and when you win!"What is the hand you remember most, either because of the excitement of winning it or the frustration of losing it? Tell us what happened and how you handled the situation."
