I have a problem because I used to like a 10 8 hand, now I'm starting to notice that 9 and 6 work wonders. Plus 88 more is a very strong starting point

There are a lot of hands actually. The human memory is so structured that we remember mostly bad hands. But I can remember my disappointment when recently in one of Daily tournaments I lost to a Brazilian girl from our Community (I don't remember her login, but she's Diane). She had “KK” and I had “AK”. And yes, our stacks were the biggest at the table at that moment.

In a tournament, close to reaching the money, I had to make a hero call with the lowest possible pair. I knew the opponent had many failed bluffs, and thanks to that, I ended up finishing second.

WHEN: April, 2011
WHERE: pokerstars
WHAT: Sunday 1.5 Million
WHO: Hero & Villain

Backdrop: 7800+ entries at $215 per = $170-180,000 1st place;

We were down to the final 3 tables (9 per) & I was sitting about 10th or 12th. Medium stacked. Playing lovely and although 10+ hours in, feeling fresh. Would this be my week to win the big one?

Get dealt AA in mid position and UTG raises 2x which I make 5x. Fold around and UTG calls. Flop: A K 2 rainbow. UTG checks, I bet smallish (fake steal attempt) and UTG shoves. Insta-call, of course. I check the leaderboard and see that winning this hand will make me the chip leader.

UTG shows KQ off-suit vs. my trips Aces. If you run this scenario on a poker simulator you will see I win this hand 98.28% of the time.

Turn is a J & river brings a 10 and I finish 27th place. Cash for around 3k which is decent enough on most Sundays but absolutely heart-wrenching on this particular one. "I'll get them next time," I think, but then a week or two later Black Friday hits & I can no longer play on PokerStars.

I was playing good enough to win that tournament. But the Poker Gods decided, No.

I only have stories of defeats with AA and KK, players who don't know how to play always win.

My quads of jacks lost to a royal flush and I was very happy about it because I got a bad beat jackpot of over a thousand dollars.

I remember very much when I had a straight in one of the hands at once, there were three people in the game, and at the end my opponents laid out a full house and a flush, I lost all the chips.

The appearance of this is flawless. All of these minute features are the result of a great deal of prior information. I have a lot of appreciation for it. I found this topic to be quite helpful, and I believe that it is quite simple to tell from the other comments that this piece is both well-written and helpful. cookie clicker

My most memorable Hand On-line Has to be when I was down to around 3 BBs left in a Tournament and still not made the money, I was on the BB and dealt K/10 Heart suited, and an aggressive player raised my BB, and another player called the raise, I decided There really was only one solution, So In for a Penny, I shoved all-in.
The 2 players called and the Flop gave me the Royal Flush, It was a good job I was playing on-line as I burst into laughter and couldn't stop laughing as the other players were fighting over a lost cause, I had the "Nuts" and nothing was going to stop me making the money, I actually made the final table, and took a decent prize.
In a Live game I think the most memorable hand was when I was heads up against a player who shoved all-in with an A/K suited, and I snap called without even looking at my two cards, My reason was that I had a massive chip stack and didn't care if I doubled him up or not, When the dealer turned my cards over, this other player laughed at my miserable 6/2 off and said I was Stupid not looking before I called. The Flop and Turn didn't improve either hand, until the River paired my 2 and I won with a pair.
I just said "If I had looked I would never have called, and folded the winning hand" My Friends that were there Laughed so much, they even took Photos of me holding the 6/2 off as if I had Won the World Series with it, A night I will never forget!

I have a story too, I was on the button and opened 45s, bigblind defended and on the flop he opened A32 and got straight on the Flop, the villain had A9o and played like crazy thinking he had the best hand, I took all his chips.

Hello Poker Fans,

Some hands are just too irresistable to fold and an open-ended straight flush draw is one of them. I got one on the flop and villain had K9s going for the same flush draw, putting the maximum pressure to get me to fold. I dug my heels in and put my tournament on the line!

See the action here!

There were only 2 hearts in the deck to bring me home and though I have the Aces, Deuces, Fives and Sixes as outs, villain is still a 70% favourite to win!!

Whew - what are the odds of that :D

If feel great to be that lucky!!

Context: hand-to-hand final table of the ko tournament. The first won a prize of about 300 while the second won half.
My hand: A6
Flop: A66 (2 diamonds)
Decided to pass and set a trap for the rival
Turn: 10 of diamonds.
At this point my opponent starts betting aggressively. Luckily for me it had color

Opponent's hand: KJ of diamonds

River: Q for diamonds.
The rival takes my KO and the tournament.

I don't remember all or some specific, but I can tell you what happened, Sunday or Monday, there was a pair of AA, I went all in, the villain who had the most chips, accepted, when he opened the cards, he a 2 and 6 of different suits, I thought it was won, on the flop an A 2 2, k fell and on the river the 6, These are things that only happen online, as I was playing other tournaments, it passed as something normal

I am certain i have mentioned this in the past but my most memorable hand was also the worst bad beat Ive ever had - it was some years ago, on full tilt poker playing the daily dollar and i was in the last 13 players in 7th place, Chip-stacks were huge, i believe i was somewhere around 235k when i was dealt KK in the small blind and raised big blind 4x and was called.

Flop came KJJ rainbow and i was like yes! I raised half pot and was jammed all in, i snap called and villain showed AJ turn was 2 clubs and river came a J.

I was covered by like 10k chips and was knocked out...that win would have put me top 2 with 12 left, the guy who got the quads went on to win tourney. I was like numb for 2 days lol.
