My Facebook memories this morning reminded me of mine. It happened 9 years ago today.

I was in Vegas playing poker and I was in the big blind. Everyone folded to me and I went all in. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I should have made a true show of it and called myself lol.

Every time I sit down at the poker table. :ROFLMAO:

I honestly can't remember a really embarrassing moment at the poker table, but there was one time after a poker tournament, I had a $10 chip in my pocket, so I decided to just use it on a table game. I can't even remember what I "played," but I wanted to use this chip and just try something. So, I sat down at a table and put my $10 chip on the table and the dealer dealt the cards. There were 2 older guys to my left and one of them (probably drunk at 4pm) looked at me and looked at my shirt (I was wearing my Pro Wrestling training center shirt) and the first thing he said to me was "Wrestling? You don't look like a wrestler." And that just threw me off for a moment because I was trying to focus on the hand that was being dealt and had no idea what was going on. And I just gave the dude a side eye and the dealer was like "What do you want to do?" And I froze and I was like "uhh.. I dunno." And the drunk player goes, "Just toss your chip to him." I was like "Whatever." And just got up and left. I was so confused and thrown off. This was around 2017, I think right after I was knocked out in 19th place at the Heartland Poker Tour (Top 13 paid out) with my KK losing to QJ.

Wait, I do have an embarrassing poker story. For one, I'll say that I'm glad that I learned the craft in bar poker back in the late 2000's right after the poker boom with a decent group of people. That probably saved me a lot of potential embarrassing moments at the casino lol.

There was once in a game where 2 players were in the pot and I had folded pre-flop. The aggressor was across my table who bet post flop and the person next to me called. Turn comes, aggressor bets, and the person next to me calls again. River comes out, aggressor bets small. Person next to me reraises, and the aggressor thinks about it, and reraises a lot bigger. The person next to me folds. There were no straight or flush possibilities out there, and I was trying to figure out what they had and there was a lot of talk at the table. So when they mucked and the next dealer was being slow, I was like "What did you have?" And I picked up their cards and flipped them over, which everyone knows is a big no-no. And they just stopped and looked at me and said, "Don't do that. You can't flip another player's cards over." I felt so dumb, because I was caught up in the moment and knew I shouldn't have done that. And of course, I never did again. This was all the way back in 2008.

They had Pocket 3's btw, and no 3 was out there, so I was still confused by all the calling lol. But you know.. bar poker.

Mine was when I came back to the table from the ladies room and discovered that when I pulled my tights up I'd caught the back hem of my skirt. So I'd "mooned" everyone who had looked my way as I crossed the room. LOL!!

At the table itself I will occasionally bet out of turn, or raise with an amount that is too small.

I went all in in a cashgame in my local Casino and i lost.

I did not want to play anymore that day.
A few days later i came back and the floorman came to me and give me 104 euro because the guy who won the all in a few days earlier was a shortstack :).

I did not lose it all.

Playing at Foxwoods. Big pot. I check, someone raises and it folds around to the guy to my left who tanks for about 10 minutes. Finally someone calls the clock and I say "Give the guy some time, this is a big pot!" at which point the dealer says " What do you mean? It's on you!". I look down and still have two cards. I never actually folded!😬

It usually happens, my most embarrassing moment is that in the first hand of a big tournament I played I went all in preflop, haha, I had made the wrong click, everyone sent emojis to the chat hahaha

That happens a lot. Some people are too eager to give up, and I'm happy to hear that you didn't lose that extra money. :)

When I played my first live tournament and floor came to clear the 100 chips right after I left to go to the bathroom because break was about to start, dealer started the chip race while I was out, but I did not know that, then when I came back, I did not see my chips anymore, and I went nuts thinking someone stole them, but no, then the floor explained what happened.

When I fall into the fisherman's hook and become a delicious fish😬, I feel extremely embarrassed with myself and see that I have misjudged my opponent.

Hmm, I don't have embarrassing moment, but I got strange situations 😃😂
Pvt, cash game, and one of the guys is my gynecologist!!!
We shake hands - greeting each other, he didn't said that I'm his patient - such a gentleman, but on next medical check up, we talk little about poker + he didn't change me more, even I took few k from him...❤😂

Most embarrasing? That must be playing (or winning?) irresponsibly

There were so many, the two most embarrassing, the first was when I left the bathroom and I didn't notice that I had a piece of toilet paper stuck to the sole of my shoe, the second the valet didn't allow me to enter the parking lot with my car, I had arrived from a trip and it had rained a lot and the car was covered in mud

Once at a home game, we were using non-standard values for different chip colours and I was responsible for exchanging chips as the blinds grew. Well, I managed to lose half of my stack by exchanging higher value chips using the wrong exchange rate, effectively valuing one type of chip at 50% of its actual value, so I went from chip leader to.... an average stack and couldn't figure out why for an embarrassingly long time, and by the time I did, it wasn't ethical to restore my stack size by just adding in chips. And yes, I somehow managed to do this only to my own stack.

Once, while playing at several tables, I got distracted and pressed the wrong button, I discarded my cards, and I had a straight flush.

A couple of times in a live tournament I have been told by the dealer to hide my cards as they were showing. Having only played a few times live this is a bit embarrassing and you do look like a newbie. So instantly your credibility is gone at the table and one does look like a big fish! Oh well, we all learnt by experience.

I was imagining the scene and the other players' faces for you, it must have been hilarious.😁🤣🤣

I've never had a similar experience, as I've never played live.
