I believe that there is no worse moment but that one when your game was winning and starts to lose for sure is the worst.

The river is the street where all hopes are dashed whether you were ahead or behind on the turn. Before the river, there is often still hope.
But when the axe falls and your flopped set is out drawn, or the board offers a chop to your victim, or when you realise you needed a bigger boat.
It's
All
Over
Now

Losing on the river is the most unfortunate thing for every player.

There is no such moment. The game is the game and we have to act accordingly 😉

In your opinion, what is the worst moment in a poker game?
Preflop
flop
turn or
river
For me the River is fatal, it even seems that the River plays against my cards
River, for sure! You are coin flipping Pocket Pairs and the river makes a straight or flush for the villain.

When you have the second biggest stack with :as4: :ac4:on the bubble in a tournament with the biggest stack on your left and already have a huge pot started pre-flop, then the flop comes up something like :jh4::10h4::9h4: and they won't fold when you bet the flop. Let's see a turn of :8h4: to make it even worse.

The Turn is often considered the hardest street to play. By this stage, a lot of information has been revealed, and the pot size usually increases significantly, leading to higher stakes decisions. It's a critical point where you must decide whether to commit further or fold, often with incomplete information. Misplaying the Turn can be costly because it sets up the final action on the River. Therefore, the Turn requires a careful balance of aggression and caution, making it particularly challenging compared to other streets.
