Are many here actually watching Dwan's modern game?
Obviously he is playing almost exclusively in Macau and in the Triton High Roller Series, but his game has changed and he is way tighter than he used to be. He explained this in a recent interview regarding the image that was created around his televised poker play years ago. He laughed about it and said he started bluffing heavily in the televised games and kept getting away with it...so he kept it up.
That said, I do not think Negreanu, Dwan or even Ivey's game hold up as they once did. They where ahead of the game in their era, the best of a specific period. However, none of them dominate todays game a fact evidenced by results.
There are too many brilliant poker players out there now for anyone to truly reign. And then you have to contend with the emerging pattern of great players going on year plus heaters...Holz, Bonomo, Chidwick, Kenney. I can't see the likes of Negreanu, Dwan or Ivey matching this (though it would be a blast to see).

I would go with Negreanu due to the amount of entertainment he brings to the game. When playing live or watching live or recorded feed it's more enjoyable to have people who are full of energy and bring good vibes to the game. Poker is suppose to be fun and enjoyable. It's a plus for any new player starting to play cards to feel very welcomed by a community versus people who sit like statues at the table and don't say a word. Keep poker fun!

I'll follow DN footstep mainly because he is very consistent.
DN is a guy who 'Worth taking a risk' while Dawn is 'Like to take risk'

Tom Dwan takes advantage of his incredibly loose style to push people off of strong hands. Since he is so loose, you just never know how he might have hit the board. So, unless you have an absolute monster, it's tough to play pots against him when he's being aggressive. I've watched quite a few hands where players call him down only to see that he hit a straight with his marginal starting hand. Daniel is a lot more conservative. Both playing their style well and are amazing poker players. Their lifetime winnings speak for themselves !

Without a doubt, two of the greatest professional poker players ... When I started to get interested in poker, it was precisely watching a live tournament on television where Daniel Negreanu showed all his ability and intelligence to win hands that seemed lost ... and what I admire most is that for many years he has managed to remain among the best players in the world ... something that is not easy ... we have already seen how some players win some important tournament and then disappear ... definitely Negreanu is my favorite player ... however Tom is very good too ...!

Durr has been off the public eye for a long while now playing in big Chinese cash games. So, who knows how or where he stands now with the game. Also Durr is more of a cash game player, Negreanu plays more tourneys.

I think Tom Dwan's best player, at least in the online poker, who does not remember battles against Isildur1 and Phil Ivey in futll tilt poker.
