I try to concentrate on my game, and not let it affect me. Many players do it. But I focus on my game.

It’s all part of the game. Like any game or sport you have to deal with how the opponent plays. If this rattles you then you need to look at yourself.

Politeness has always been a stranger for me. I play only on-line so the question never arises.

As we have all same time/timebank, I don’t think player who take more time to play is a issue.

The slow play becomes more annoying when you play a few tables, but when you play more tables you are in action all the time.

We all have come across a player who takes forever to makea desision on what to do with his or her hand.
I know that some people do it on perpest so that they get closer
to the bubble to get a pay out, others do it to piss players off.
What is the gentleman's way of dealing with this issue?
Act as fast as possible.
We had the needed time to analyze the situation
Now lets get the needed time back

I would also waste my clock
and say something smart as shit witty mean to the person

It is no issue, as long as it is their time they have for making a decision.
The other thing is when they try to get more time with making things like disconnecting the WIFI, what adds and additional minute to reconnect.
This is always an issue for me to consider a cheater that makes some RTA researches.

Yes, playing poker is very slow sometimes annoying and players play differently, so you have to understand this and play differently against different poker players The most important thing about poker success is patience If you are patient then you are already a successful person

I rarely come across such players at the tables, most often this happens before they get into the prizes on the bubble

I don't particularly do slow play, but I don't mind it. I find it unpleasant and unnecessary.
Regarding being close to the bubble with a small stake, I see myself as entitled to what is allowed to try to reach the prize, including taking as long as I can.

I find this really annoying but don't think you can do much about it to be fair.

There has been introductions of time banks and what not but this just seems to play on the tankers side.

Been watching the triton streams recently and they all tank even if they hold hands which are an obvious fold.

Usually, I'm slow playing in order to piss off my opponents, mainly in Cash Games!

In modern online poker every player has a strategy. If we are talking about time banking just to anger the opponent, I certainly don't support that. We have to respect each other! And we can use time banking only during a certain period of the tournament: it's 10-15 minutes before the prize area (and your stack is above average) and 1-2 minutes before the higher prize money with a stack below 3 big blinds.

Online? Don't worry about it. Often times they are doing you a favour my taking up time until the final table. in person is a different story tho for sure.

Its nothing to really be concerned about, if they are focused on trying to be a jerk it takes away from their focus on the game.

Unless it's live poker, there's nothing you can do or should do. They are in their right, if the player wants to use all his time to make his decision he can do that and I see no problems with that.

You sound like a cool person.... 'Not!'

Do we get points for being a decent, respectful, considerate person?
