I think that yes, poker is often about being lucky, even if some people say otherwise.

Here in brazil we don't have a casino, that's why I call them poker houses, I play in an online way and a different way in poker houses, in my opinion it's good to have different types of players, good, bad, bingueiros, fish, foxes and other types, that's why poker is interesting

I'm sure you know his game... do you want him to gamble away his existence? :ROFLMAO:bad advice..

If you're referring to his game as in 'how he plays the game', I actually have no clue. But I do know his game selection and have seen he plays pretty much every single longshot/satty-type freeroll in existence to mankind... as in hundreds (maybe thousands?) of them. Ugh! So painful.

I've noticed a growing trend recently where more and more players seem to be adopting a reckless, almost casino-like approach to poker. It feels like every hand is being played all-in, regardless of the cards they hold. This style of play can be really frustrating, and it got me thinking about why this might be happening. Here are a few reasons that could explain this phenomenon:

Sick (Burnout or Fatigue): Some players might be experiencing burnout or fatigue from playing poker for long periods. When you're mentally exhausted, it's harder to make calculated decisions, and you might start playing recklessly. This kind of 'sick' play can often be a sign that someone needs a break to recharge.

Careless (Lack of Experience or Strategy): There are always new players entering the game, and many of them might not yet understand the strategic depth of poker. They might treat it more like a game of chance rather than skill, going all-in frequently without considering the odds. This careless approach is usually due to a lack of experience or a misunderstanding of the game’s strategy.

Dependent (Chasing Losses or Addiction): Unfortunately, some players might be struggling with gambling addiction. This dependency can lead them to chase losses aggressively, often resorting to all-in plays in the hope of a big win to recover their losses. It's a dangerous cycle and a serious issue that needs attention.

It's important for the health of the game and the community to recognize these patterns and understand the underlying causes. For those of us who enjoy poker as a game of skill, it's crucial to adapt and find ways to counter these reckless players while still playing our best game.
The influx of new players who treat poker more like a game of luck rather than skill is another significant factor. These players often go all-in without fully understanding the intricacies of the game. This can be both a challenge and an opportunity for more experienced players to capitalize on their mistakes.

Weak players save the all-in for a lot of cards. Which sometimes comes in handy.

Well, probably there is such a tactic here - why think, count your chances of winning, put all-in and that's it.

stop playing freerolls.
Ahhahahaha )))
Right. In buy-in tournaments there are significantly fewer such players. But still, in my opinion, freerolls are still easier to play thanks to such loose players ))
And there are not many such players in CC freerolls...

P. S.

Останнім часом таких гравців з'являється все більше. Покер грають як казино! (Майже завжди все грають ва-банк.) Важко зрозуміти причину хворий, недбалий, залежний
The higher the limits, the fewer such players people care about playing in free rolls.

It's funny that you created such a topic, because that's exactly what I see from you at the tables - endless allins on any2 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
No negativity, everyone plays this game as they want🖤

There are really many such players. But it doesn't matter to me personally. I just play, enjoy the process and only see bingo players as opportunities to double my stack. Sometimes, of course, there are days when I'm not lucky, but that's poker, and it's great because it's essentially unpredictable :)

Good morning everyone, I started playing in 2018, and these players who play any which way, including going All in preflop up to 200bb, that bothered me, but today I don't care about the way the villains play.
To profit in micro limits, just play value and avoid bluffing because they will call even with the fifth pair on the board.
Regarding comparing poker to casino, they are very different games.
I know it was an analogy.
But poker is a game that depends on knowledge and the more you play, the more you will profit.
The casino has games that are designed to take money from players, it is impossible to make money in the long term playing casino games.

The reasons may be different, but the results in most cases will always be the same. Loss of money and disappointment are quite predictable consequences of such a game. But if it is just entertainment for the player and not a means of making a profit, and if the player is ready to pay for it from his own pocket, then it is his choice and it is definitely his right.

This can be frustrating and difficult to understand, especially when it seems reckless or dependent on luck rather than skill. It's important to remember that poker, like any game involving strategy and chance, attracts a diverse range of players with different motivations and approaches. Some may enjoy the thrill of high-risk plays, while others might be influenced by emotional factors or lack of experience in bankroll management and strategy. As with any form of gambling or competitive play, responsible behavior and sound decision-making are crucial for long-term success and enjoyment in poker.

There are different reasons to play like this, someone can't sit for a long time and wait for a good card, so they lose their nerves, and they played like in a casino and are free.
