New Year's Poker Resolutions

I would like to invest my poker time only on poker rooms and games that deserve it more . Also find rime good better games for me . Learn new tricks at the tables . I guess these and nothing more , no more is needed at the (lowest) stakes where I play )))

I think that since I started playing (six years ago), I've always dreamed of playing Venom.
But honestly, I admit that I've rarely fought for this dream, I've become quite complacent.
I think I'm capable of playing decently, but at this point in my life I've changed my focus to other areas, we know that poker takes up a lot of our time.
In 2025 I intend to organize my life and go back to giving more attention to my beloved poker, who knows, maybe playing my dream Venom, and if I reach the ITM that would already be my greatest prize.

Last week I was in Las Vegas and I had a chance to play offline poker in some small tournament and it was fun.

My resolution for 2025 is to participate in a major poker event, either in Europe or the USA. Ideally, I’d like to make it into the money, but more importantly, I want to gain experience playing in a major offline event. Another goal is to break my personal record for a single tournament win, which currently stands at around $500.

Interesting thread and I'll try to just answer the 3 questions as I'm not a big fan of New Year Resolutions in general...
What would you wish for in 2025? Where would you most like to improve? What experience would you like to have?

(1) I just wish that 2025 would be a lot better poker wise as I fell like my poker game is in a pretty good place ATM, the results/ a bit of RunGood is what I'm after- so BlessRNG lol; (2) I loved the Variant league and I rarely miss and community game we have on Friday("Variant Friday"), but I suck at most of this variant games and I plan to study and improve my game at some of this- especially Omaha; (3) Because of Covid19, I kinda stopped playing live poker and I wish to go back to it and maybe try to qualify for a big live event- any EPT/ WPT event would be awesome...

I don't make any promises to myself. I'm lazy, and I don't like to do things that stress me out. That's why in 2025 I will play for my own pleasure and I hope that in 2025 I will have a profit more than in 2024

The year 2024 has ended for me without achieving any victory worth mentioning. However, I still love and want to play more and more. I will try to recover and renew my study of poker strategies and skills gradually and correctly.

In my opinion, the main thing is that the year should be at least like 2024, with a good drift. The main thing is that I stopped adjusting to poker and play when I have time.

I've been through a pretty big downswing, I've been off the game for a few months now, I think I'm back to full strength now.

I would like to expand my play to outside of the CC freerolls. I still have money on a few sites from 2020, so I would like to put it to use on some SnGs and maybe a tourney or two.

My problem at the moment is confidence. I have been abused lately in the freerolls by good players, shove and pray players, and Lady Luck. I need to remember that most small stakes that I will play have players that pale when compared to (the better) half the CC freerolls.
