When we play a hand in poker, we evaluate the actions of our opponent - the size of the bet and the position from which he bets, how he played before (if there is such information) and many more factors that will influence your actions, we also take into account the strength of our own hands and making conclusions we make decisions for further actions!!! Given so many factors influencing your actions, I think you yourself understand that in the long run the method - "relying only on luck" will not work!!!

Anything is possible in poker. But luck is a finite thing. You could win one tournament in a thousand, but it would still be a loss because luck is just a small part of experience and skill.
