Run the sim in GTOWizard and take what you've learned and use it in the net situation you find yourself in.

Poker is a game of constant improvement, even the best make mistakes, the trick is to minimize the number of mistakes you make or make fewer mistakes than the other people you are playing against.

It's only failure when you give up, otherwise it's a learning opportunity.

The only failure....is refusing to learn. I see players who keep making the same mistakes every game and they refuse to learn.
There are so many free resources available these days there is no reason for not improving.

Loses are always unpleasant. But you should try to treat these games as a paid experience. If you lose in a freeroll, there is no need to worry (except you may regret the lost opportunity and your time). :)

Try your best to learn from your mistakes and not get too mad at yourself.

Hi. What kind of failures? And for how long? I'm used to it, but I was curious how serious it is and what could be done about the perceived severity.

Think long term and look at this situation from that perspective. You can win 5 times in a row and then lose 15 times in a row. There is no order or logic to this other than the fact that AA beats KK 80% of the time over an infinite number of hands.Your friends or other players may point out problems in your game. In fact, this is actually very good news. Because now you understand that the problem is not in the downswing, but in something that depends on you, and that you can fix if you put in the effort.

I've been wanting to hear your thoughts here, is it just me or everyone and is poker not some kind of masochism

This advice is for a rich person who is sick of poker, but what to do for someone who is not rich and also sick of poker

there is no advice for such people that SOMEDAY, MAYBE, WAIT - they need good results today and not in some unknown future !

with time and age probably comes calmness that on the river you can be run over. It's just poker and if you played correctly. I often noticed, after several wins or withdrawals, there is a series of losses without prizes

Well in a long term you should not be tilted if you play on skill , bad beats are normal , if you cant handle bad beat try with deep breath or meditation 🧘‍♂️ , at the end of the day you will not play for your life savings so you dont need to be tilted too much if you lose 10% of your bankroll , the next day you will lose 20% or win 50%

Dealing with failures in poker requires maintaining emotional balance, learning from mistakes, and staying focused on long-term improvement. Start by accepting losses as part of the game, as even the best players experience setbacks due to variance. Analyze each session objectively, reviewing hands to identify errors and areas for improvement rather than dwelling on bad luck. Develop a growth mindset, focusing on learning and refining strategies rather than letting emotions take over. Manage your bankroll properly to minimize the financial impact of losses and reduce stress. Take breaks to clear your mind and avoid tilt, which can lead to irrational decisions. Surround yourself with supportive players or mentors who can provide advice and perspective. Focus on consistent study, practice, and mental conditioning to build resilience and improve performance over time. Remember that poker is a long-term endeavor, and perseverance combined with discipline is key to overcoming failures and achieving success.

Scream, let it out, vent. But seriously the more you play the more you will get used to bad beats etc.
