Addiction makes it sound as if there is something wrong in playing Poker, If you are in control, then what is wrong if you play once a week, once a month, or several times everyday? I prefer the term Passionate! I used to be Passionate about playing Poker, and during the Lockdowns I would play at least 10 games everyday, and even though I didn't win that much I didn't lose anything either.
Using money I won from
freerolls, and buying into Micro stake games. I can honestly say Poker has not cost me a single penny. and that's because after playing for over 20 years On-line, I have still not made a deposit. That's because I manage my
bankroll, never losing more than 1% in any single game.
Yes I have had days where I couldn't make the money in a single game I played, but giving it a rest for 24 hours and catching up on some Poker theory, I came back stronger and cashed in many games, I admit losing 10% of your Bankroll in one sitting is a little concerning, but having 90% left, it wasn't Disastrous,
It's all about self Control, and if you can control how much you lose, you can always come back refreshed and win more than you lost.
Passionate about Poker? Definitely, Addicted Never!
