Before my kids were here poker was my entire life I played every minute of my waking day. These days I’m lucky if I get an hour to myself to play, I usually just play sit and go as it’s over quickly. Almost every tournament I start I end up having to abandon it and just go all in as the baby is needing me for something or other. How do other members find the right balance? I feel guilty every time I go to play live and usually end up playing reckless to get home quicker which is obviously stupid and a waste of money. I know it’s a case of priorities at the moment but I’m really missing poker.
It happened to me, try playing on your phone or tablets! Now I don't have time for work or other tasks!

In my opinion, you can get out of this situation by talking to your wife. Set aside one evening a week when everyone knows in advance that dad won't be home - and do household chores on the other days to free yourself up. It's clear that sometimes some emergency situations will still arise, but still sometimes, not always. Good luck to you!🖤

Sometimes I find it difficult to find time to play poker because of work or personal appointments that I can't change. But I try to make use of my free time.

This phase of having small children is very difficult and consumes all of the person's money and time, I have 3 adult children

It’s a phase, and hopefully, as your kids get older, you’ll be able to find more time for yourself. In the meantime, try to enjoy the moments you do get to play, even if they’re shorter than you’d like.

I also have little time to play poker, I have grandchildren and I want to spend time with them, also with my family and friends.

Live tournaments I believe that until the baby grows up it is not better to play them... but online poker and its various platforms are viable, as it is possible to play and take care of the child at the same time, including doing homework as well. Take the opportunity to study and practice, so when you return to playing live tournaments, you will have better results than in the past.
