I prefer to play MTTs, because in Cash Games players don't need many strategies... the competition in MTTs and the prizes are more attractive with a smaller investment.
For me, the main difference is that in cash games you need to have your objectives very clear, like when you plan to stop playing, for example.
In tournaments, that part is simple, just play until it's over. You can think about climbing positions or making decisions based on how the tournament unfolds, but you don't have to worry about the things I mentioned earlier.
Cash games offer flexibility with no time limits and deep stacks, while tournaments bring escalating blinds, survival pressure, and the thrill of big payouts. Each demands unique strategies—master both for a complete poker game.
