Tournaments. I feel more focused playing them and over time that is where you'll make your money.

Playing more poker variants, but the ones that attract me the most are the tournaments because they know they are investing a fixed amount of money.

I have always been a fan of the tournaments. Mostly because in cash games, I tend to get a little bored with the monotony of the deep stacks. In tournaments their tends to be much more variation int the stack sizes which changes the game. That extra level has kept my attention better which allows me to put in a greater volume of tournaments than I ever could at cash.

I think it is different for each individual though and it is best to figure out what works for you !

Cash games if you have less than 4 hours free. Tournaments if you are staked or won a satellite.

It's probably wrong, but I can't play one discipline all the time. Play and cash and tournaments.

I used to like cash games, but lately I'm playing freeroll because I have not played poker for a long time, I'll play real money in a few weeks, "I need to go back to the ring" ...

In tournaments there is excitement, interest. Cash games are monotonous. in tournaments you know how much you can win.

since I recently returned to a poker game after a short break, I began to recall the game with freerolls and free tournaments. I fill my hand, sharpen the game and remember the forgotten knowledge

I have always preferred to play tournaments. But I recently tried Cash. And I liked it, in a relatively short amount of time, you can win well. In tournaments, I lost half of the bankroll. Going into Cash, I returned. I raise a bankroll in cash games. You can also quickly play chests in cash.

I'm not too sure If you can look me up @ CC but the most expensive cash table I've played at was $100/$200 HU back In the day when I won like 12.5K and ran It up to $35K In like 5 hours or so, and lost It all In 1 hand, Mind you I did cash out the $12.5k, than I ran the rest back up to $35K and yup, but I like PLO cash to NL cash but I prefer tourneys overall FTW
Tell us the hand!!!
Please tell us the hand where you lost the $35k. I'm sure you can still remember it like it was just yesterday ;)
And after, tell us about the hands you won in that tourney promo leaderboard thing where you won the WPT entry on Carbon. You were awesome in that game!!! (I'm jealous as phuch)

I only play tournaments, as they have a sports component and the taste of winning a tournament cannot be compared to winning a pot in a cash game. Tournaments forever!

I prefer tournaments. I feel more pressure when playing cash games because you are playing with real money chips. In tournaments you use real money for the buy in and then play with tournament chips. Somehow I find this less intimidating.

I choose tournaments for me to play comfortably and most importantly, I for one hand will not lose a lot of money in cash games.
I like tournaments more. I do not know why, but I'm not very lucky in cash games. As for me, tournaments bring more fun. And if you get crazy and begin playing risky, then in a tournament you can lose only the buy-in, not your entire bankroll :)

Personally I play only tournaments, mostly MTT. In the tournament you made one entry and play, more entry will not lose. In the cache it is possible for one hand to play all you've got for the table. I am opposed to the cash games.

Choosing between cash games and tournaments depends on your personality, goals, and playing style. Cash games offer flexibility—you can join or leave anytime, and the blinds stay constant, making it ideal for players who prefer consistency and deep-stack strategy. Tournaments, on the other hand, require more time and patience but offer the thrill of big payouts from small buy-ins and test your adaptability as stack sizes and pressure change. If you enjoy grinding and steady profits, cash games may suit you better. If you like high risk, big rewards, and the excitement of progression, tournaments might be your path.

Tournaments, without a doubt...but when I have little time I take a chance on the cash tables...but most of the time I lose...
