Most of the females poker players you mentionned are tournaments players. As far as the best female player all around, by far is Daniel neagranu°s first girlfriend, a very hight limit pro , she has millions of dollars swings year in year out since the 1990s, Her name is Jennifer Harman . If it wasnt for her, you wouldnt have never heard of daniel Neagranu. He was broke and on the rail, playing 100$ tournament at The Orleans in las vegas, She was staking him and giving him the chance to meet the likes of chip reese and doyle brunson,the rest is history

I lived in vegas from 1987-2004 and remembers when Neagranu just came from toronto and used to play with us at the Mirage 10$-20$ limit holdem ,most of the time dressed with those hockey jerseys. He was a non stop talking machine at the tables but pleasant personality. he used to play 100$-300$ tournaments at the orleans.I know because I used to also play them .
As far as jennifer harmon, I think you can just google and find some information.

I don't doubt there is some truth to what you say regarding Negreanu's early days and his relationship with Harman. It would have been interesting to see where her career progressed (in a public sense) is she had not been impacted by illness to the degree she was.


Regarding Vanessa Selbst getting mentioned. Try as I might I cannot warm to her play. There is no arguing with results (I believe she is still the winningest women's player) but she was aggression and self-sabotage in equal measures. I always felt when she ran good, she got away with it when she didn't it just felt like she tilted off massive stacks. Over simplistic I know - but the whine which always followed her making a catastrophically stupid play just grated on me.

If you are talking about All Time greats then I have to go with Annie Duke, if you are talking about current players, then I think Vanessa Selbst or Liv Boree...and they will also become all-time greats too. I do like Annette as well.

The topic is about best female poker ,in my book Jennifer is the best.
For the rest of the story, if You have any connection in vegas, make couple phone calls, and will get the confirmation of what I said.
Dont get me wrong, Neagranu is an excellent poker player ,but if he stayed playing small limits, most likely no one will have ever heard of him. But when you start hanging with poker players millionnaires who stakes you , you have it made

Negreanu and both Harman have been open about the fact they were close when Negreanu was finding his feet in Las Vegas - and since. Though I am not sure if the relationship was described openly as boyfriend/girlfriend I always took it to mean it was something other than mentorship early days.

Simply Google Jennifer Harman Daniel Negreanu close relationship and you will find links/clips etc.

I watched Adrienne Carter (talonchick) in the past. I think she was a very great player, a down-to-earth lady, and such a nice woman - mother as well.
I also respect the fact that she stopped playing poker, probably cause of her family, and started to take another dream.
If I can add one more thing, they live next to a lake surrounded by forest, very isolated but in a peaceful area, so I wanna believe that she has a nice soul too.

I would have to say Kristen Bicknell. She has been playing some very good poker as of late. I actually like the play of Jen Tilly. She may sound like she doesn’t know what she’s doing but she usually makes the right decision.
