I was in a freeroll on PokerStarsPA and down to the 2 final tables. I had a pocket pair in Middle Position - UTG goes ALLIN (about 15 BB's). Check out the hand in the replayer. Did I make the right decision? I still wonder if I should have played it out, in that position.

What would you have done?

In theory, this is a pretty easy call. You're the second shortest stack at the table, with 11bb left and a decent hand. Your calling range should look something like 66+, AJ+, ATs and KQs.

However, there are some other considerations we have to factor in:
Do you have any information on villain? Is he overly loose or tight?
Are there any major ICM considerations?
Were there any other really short stacks on the other table?

As others have said, this fold is to tight, unless Villain is a known nit. I might not call all the way down to 66, but at least 88+ is an easy call. Yes you will bust at a non-trivial frequency, but these are the kind of calls, you have to make in order to win tournaments.

You can call this bet from middle position with nines, you have more bigger stacks above you. Depends from the situation, because there are two tables remaining, you can wait a little more for something stronger. It was a good decision.
