The NBA signing/re-signing window has begun! Fred Van Vliet, Jerami Grant, Kyrie Irving already got their max contracts! Jacob Peltl, Chris Middleton and Draymond Green have also re-signed with their current teams! We continue to follow the Austin Reeves situation.

Austin Reeves finally re-signed with the Lakers!!! Congratulations to all Lakers fans! Reeves will get $56 million for 4 years (player option for 4th season). Also the Lakers managed to re-sign DiLo for 2 years and $37 million total! Rob Pelinka did an incredible job this offseason! Bravo!!!

Lakers did good at start of this free agency. Decent contracts all around.
I'm still smh at that FVV contract from Houston Rockets though. Congrats to the guy, but that's a massive overpay.

No doubt about it! Van Vliet is a player who wasn't selected in the draft but showed up pretty well for the Raptors, but... He's not worth that crazy contract. But it's Houston This is the management that let Harden go virtually free. So no surprise there.

This offseason in the NBA, the only question left is about Chris Wood. More specifically, his contract and the team that will be able to offer him that contract... Is a great talented up-and-coming center with a good shot really going to get the minimum?
