The Wynn Las Vegas poker room is set to host a juicy series later this month, with at least $1 million guaranteed over a dozen events. Tournament buy-ins range from $300 to $1,100, making the series enticing for players at multiple levels. Each tournament features a guaranteed prize pool, up to $400,000, and satellites are available for the biggest events.

The Wynn Signature Series begins April 26 and runs through May 9. The series kicks off with a $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament at noon on the 26th. That event guarantees at least $100,000 in prize money. Players can register for Day 1a and Day 1b (27th).

The Las Vegas poker scene is beginning to slowly return to normalcy, and will likely get even closer come May 1 when Governor Steve Sisolak will permit local governments to determine COVID-19 restrictions going forward. Two Nevada counties — Washoe and Nye — have already announced they’ll eliminate most restrictions on May 1. Clark County, home to Las Vegas, hasn’t made any decisions known publicly. But many experts speculate changes are also coming for the state’s most populous county.

Las Vegas Poker Industry Booming Again

If you need any further proof of the growing Las Vegas poker industry, look no further than the upcoming Wynn Signature Series. With $1 million, at minimum, up for grabs in 12 events, it’s clear that the Strip casino is confident they’ll pack the house.

The Wynn poker room, which is normally located within the Encore casino side of the resort, has been temporarily stationed on the Wynn side since the card room reopened. But it will move back over to its permanent home at Encore in time for the upcoming series.

The series features four tournaments with six-figure guaranteed prize pools, including the aforementioned opening event. At noon on the 29th, the mega resort will spread a $250,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament for a $600 entry fee. And then on May 3, the $400 buy-in hold’em event with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool begins.

The biggest event of the series, which costs $1,100 to enter, begins on May 6 with the first of three Day 1 starting flights. At least $400,000 will be split among those who cash.

If you’re looking for a non-NLH tournament, the Wynn Spring Series offers $300 limit Omaha 8-or-better (April 29), $400 pot-limit Omaha (April 30), and $550 pot-limit Omaha bounty (May 6) events.
