The 2021 US WSOP Online Bracelet Series schedule is now available, and there’s a little something for everyone among the 33 events. Play begins on the WSOP.com poker site on July 1, and concludes exactly one month later.
This year’s live World Series of Poker in Las Vegas is being moved to the fall due to COVID-19, but the summer won’t be void of poker in town. Not only is the WSOP online bracelet series available for players in Nevada, but the Venetian will be hosting its annual live DeepStack Championship Series throughout most of the summer. And there’s a good chance some other casinos will follow suit.
Even without the live WSOP, the summer will be filled with gold bracelets being handed out to lucky (and skilled) winners. Via the All-American Poker Network on WSOP.com, at least one player each day for a full month will take home a coveted gold bracelet. Only players in Nevada and New Jersey are eligible to compete at this time. But if new regulations in other states such as Michigan permit, players in additional locales will also join in on the bracelet hunting.
With that said, players aren’t required to be residents of Nevada or New Jersey, but they must be located within those state borders during the events in order to compete. If you’re traveling to either Nevada or New Jersey and don’t already have a WSOP.com account, you should arrive a day or two before the series begins to ensure your account is verified and ready to go.
WSOP Online Bracelet Series full of juicy events
The newly released WSOP Online Bracelet Series schedule includes tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $333 to $7,777. Blind structures and details about each of the 33 events aren’t yet available, but will be in the coming weeks.
The party gets started on July 1 with The Big 500 Kickoff, a $500 buy-in, No-Limit Hold’em tournament. On the following day, the $600 MonsterStack, also NLH, kicks off. Each WSOP online series event will last just one day. Hold’em is the main game throughout the series, but there are four Omaha events on the schedule, all within a 10-day period.
