Reigning world champion John Cynn is one of many stars scheduled to compete in a $1 million “Live at the Bike” cash game Thursday beginning at 2 pm PT. Each player will buy into the $100/$200/$400 hold’em game for at least $100,000.
Poker podcaster Joe Ingram will join regular LATB hosts Ryan Feldman and Christian Soto in the broadcast booth. The show will stream live on a 30-minute delay on Twitch and YouTube.
The million-dollar cash game is part of LATB’s “High Stakes Week.” Tonight, the show will feature a $200/$400 mixed game. The lineup includes Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Eli Elezra, and also 2010 WSOP Player of the Year Frank Kassela. Wayne Chaing, also regular competitor on LATB, will commentate starting at 6 pm PT.
Stacked Lineup
Thursday’s cash game lineup is almost certain to attract a large audience. Not only will “Magic” John Cynn, the 2018 WSOP Main Event champ, compete. He’ll be joined by a star-studded cast of Los Angeles’ top grinders and other high-stakes greats.
“Live at the Bike” $1 Million Cash Game Lineup
- John Cynn (2018 WSOP Main Event champion)
- Garrett Adelstein (Los Angeles-area high-stakes grinder)
- Dan Zak (Los Angeles-area high-stakes grinder)
- Matt Berkey (poker coach and high-stakes pro)
- Art Papazyan (WPT champion and Los Angeles-area high-stakes grinder)
- Bill Klein (recreational high roller and successful businessman)
- Dan Smith (one of the top high-stakes pros in the world)
- Ralph Wong (high-stakes pro)
Smith, who has over $25 million in lifetime tournament cashes, is coming off a disappointing US Poker Open series. He failed to score a single cash which is uncharacteristic for one of poker’s biggest stars.
Papazyan, Adelstein, and Zak are regulars on “Live at the Bike.” Adelstein is considered one of the best high-stakes players in Southern California. He’s also a fan favorite on the show.
All Eyes on the Champ
One of the perks of winning the WSOP Main Event is getting invited to games such as this one. As a result of his $8.8 million victory, John Cynn is a hot commodity around poker.
Cynn’s incredible performance in July wasn’t the first time he ran deep in the Main Event. In 2011, he also finished 11th ($650,000), coming just short of the November Nine. So, he’s a proven winner, at least in tournaments.
On Thursday, he’ll get an opportunity to show off his cash game skills against some of the best in the world. You can catch the champ live on “Live at the Bike” beginning at 2 pm PT.
