Players who make Day 2 will have to travel to Live! Casino Philadelphia on Nov. 19, for the one-day finale, but a hotel room is included. The casino takes out $55 of each entry, so $515 goes to the pool.

First Live Cup surpassed guarantee
This is the second Live Cup this year, the first one held in May. It also featured a $1 million guarantee, which was broken by $236,020 thanks to a field of 2,968 entries. It was won by Florin Elisei, who took home a lifetime best (by a country mile) $210,099.
Slice it anyway you like, but turning $600 (and maybe even $80) into a six-figure payday is what a lot small and middle-stakes players live for, and it’s good to see Live! figuring out a way to provide that for the tournament poker players who suffer geographically.
