I feel in these games, my real edge comes in around ICM knowledge and exploiting the bubble with a superior push/fold strategy to most low stakes fish.  The "pace" of these turbo tourneys tends to happen in such a way that my usual stack size at the bubble is perfect for shoving over the top of 1 limper or 1 min raiser and still be a +$EV shove whether or not they call me.  I find that in regular speed tourneys, because it is a much slower structure it takes a lot longer for me to be able to exploit this tendency.

Higher variance is more tolerable at lower stakes.  I would also like to play turbo SnGs at higher stakes, but feel the variance is too high and the players too skilled to make it profitable for me.  But, I do have some success in $20-$40 live turbo SnGs because the players are just as bad as $1-$5 turbo players....the problem is the variance hurts a lot more at $40 a pop compared to $1 a pop.
