Exploit common opponent mistakes

Micro-limit players often overpay (calling station) or bluff excessively. Adjust your strategy to extract value from all-in players or wait for the right moment to punish bluffers.

The field in micro-limit tournaments tend to play very loose, especially on early stages of a tournament.
Play according to your stack-size, be aggressive when CL, tight when short-stack.
Extract as much as you can when you are strong and the board has a lot of draws, since the field often overpay as you mentioned.
Try to exploit tendencies of players rather then play GTO.
And patience is key.

I agree that it is simply impossible to play GTO at micro-limits, half of them are just playing for luck, here you should rather play with a card and proceed from the situation
