Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on improving my pre-flop game, and I recently came across some good charts for big stack play. However, I’m now looking for more guidance on push/fold decisions, particularly for deep stack scenarios.

Could anyone point me to or share push/fold charts that are relevant for deeper stacks (e.g., 40+ big blinds)? I’m especially interested in understanding how to adjust my pushing and folding ranges when I have a big stack compared to the typical charts used for short stacks (e.g., under 20 BB).

Additionally, any tips or resources that explain how to adjust based on factors like position, table dynamics, or opponent tendencies in deep stack situations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You probably won't find push/fold charts for deep stacks.
Going all-in as a deep stack leans towards exploit tactics, and charts do not offer help in that department.
Many charts online are GTO based, and going all-in with a deep stack just isn't GTO.

Hi! For deep stack push/fold decisions, charts can vary, but they typically focus on stack size, position, and opponent tendencies. One helpful resource is ICMIZER, which offers push/fold ranges based on stack sizes, including deep stacks. Consider adjusting ranges for position, tightening up early and widening in late positions.

When you are deeper than 20bb you can play with more than just push fold... The best play is usually going to just be open like 2.2bb or 2.5 really most of the time... then raise like 2.5x or maybe more from out of position. You aren't just handcuffed to shoving all in trying to steal the blinds or just hold on for dear life with a short stack.

What's the point of playing push fold with a deep stack? The only thing I see here is when you're in a late position with Aa or KK and in front of you someone broke or opened up on 2bb and everyone was playing with a bet, and that's a multipot
