Number of seats paid in PartyPoker Feeder Satellites?

I',m trying to take my satellite MTTs a bit more seriously and that requires actually knowing how seats will be paid!
I have a question specific to Party, but I guess this will be the same on many sites.

If the tournament is titled like this..


As "5 x ... " tickets, is it guaranteed there will be 5 minimum? Always?

The lobby does update eventually with the actual number to be paid, I'm guessing this is after late reg. closes, but that is very late to be planning strategy!
Is there a way of calculating sooner?

For example this tournament soon went from 8 entrants up to 29. Does this mean there will be more tickets?

Easy bro How it work is that your taking out the raking fee ( 5 cent in that case) So in that case 33 players to reach the 16.50 guarenteed.Each player after that will add to the prizepool

For example with 34 players theyre gonna be 5x3.30 ticket and the 6th place finisher would get 0.50c

If theyre gonna be 60 players therre gonna be 9 ticket and the 10th place will get whats left

ANd yes theyre always gonna be the minimum of 5 tickets ( they usually ask the tourney to reach a certain level tho)

As neverbluff already said, the maths works as follows:
Prize money: 57*0.5=28.5
Tickets: 28.5/3.3 = 8 tickets

There's no way to know the final amount of tickets until the end of late reg

But the expected number is useful to know throughout to calculate chances of cashing???

Definitely. You can always find out the amount of tickets by looking at the prize money but since people can keep registering, the amount can always increase still.

Yes you have to keep recalculating but that's fine! It sucks to not know where the finish line is I am aiming for mid game.
I need to work through the maths in the morning and get it nailed, better with a clear (and sober) head.
