basically for regular torunaments you should have a bankroll of 100x the buy -in and for hyper about 250x due to variance since there is more luck involved. Also a few of the others mentioned correctly that you should adjust your Open raise Range. So playing a bit looser since everyone is playing looser. Are they luck games? Yes. But its still poker. You just need a hugher (does this even exist?)/bigger sample size so that you can actually apply the mathematical concepts that make "winning" poker players win.
In special, luck is basically the overwhelming factor when starting short stacked (like, <30 BB).
