Have you ever fallen asleep during a tournament?

I had a funny situation when, after a hard day, I decided to play a tournament late at night, and during a five-minute break, I just fell asleep with my laptop next to me. 😴🥱
After this situation, I don't open tournaments when I'm tired.

Many times, when I played late-night tournaments, even if I was doing well, I lost because of sleep. I think concentration is what is required to win late-night tournaments.

One time in a live tournament I fell asleep for a few seconds.

I've never fallen asleep during a tournament online.
I fell asleep once in a live tournament during a 15-hour tournament, during one of the breaks, but luckily I was woken up when the tournament resumed.

I've played a 10 hour 8 game and not fallen asleep but I did once fall asleep in a late night

Falling asleep while playing poker is normal if you are really tired. I used to play up to two days in a row with the help of some stimulants. But sooner or later, you fall asleep, and sometimes without feeling it coming (no pun intended).

Happened to me once. I really beat myself up about that one. If I am playing late at night I will move from couch to kitchen table to desk a couple times in the hour. Drink more water and keep your eye on the prize.

I was in a SNG once where it seemed like someone was asleep and we were blinding them away. Then they “woke up” short-stacked and started kicking ass lol. I think they ended up winning.
