Don't pay attention to how others play. Just take into account the strength of your hands, don't play with junk, control the stage of the tournament and keep an eye on the stack size of your opponents. In general, my strategy is very simple, I just don't play with junk and thanks to this, freerolls allow me to increase my bankroll.

Think about your best hands.
In defending the Big Blind, evaluate the cheapest hands to defend and hands that can be NUTs on the FLOP (at least 2 pairs).
Avoid LIMPs and CALLS with overly speculative hands.
Good hands are to focus on raising...
And always make notes or color in the players who might do something crazy... and write down the ones who play the hardest.

I myself am a player who doesn't always play the same way, because sometimes I play while working, so my FOCUS is ZERO!
And I often have difficulties at home because my father and mother have the beginnings of Alzheimer's... so my life as a whole has been very complicated...

If you chip strongly and are close to itm, you should slow down and wait.

A good strategy for freerolls is to play as many of them as possible. Besides, the simpler your strategy is, the better. In freerolls, it is better to play with strong cards and not bluff, at least in the early and middle stages of the tournament. Set yourself a goal - ITM, everything else should be your secondary goals.

let's go:
- do not bluff in the freeroll
- play tight at the beginning
- isolate weak players
- the pot does not grow with weak hands like the second pair.

Don't worry if you lose in the freeroll, you haven't spent a cent, so it shouldn't matter at all... I got into the prize money, got pennies, well, I was able to go even better... I flew out without any prizes, and anyway, consider that I played Tetris)))

Freerolls for the most part are casinos, where half of the players play for luck, you can play according to the strategy of making raises, but when after you, as a rule, 4-5 players with garbage hands enter the all-in, here even AA hands will usually lose

First of all, you need to look at the structure of the tournament, although the structure is mostly fast there and you need more risks there. And so, I will say from my experience that you need to play more honestly there and if you get into a good combination and choose very large bets, many people do not discard the third, fourth pairs and various draws

I have always thought that there is no specific strategy, many times when I go to play I think: I am going to play very calmly, I am not going to fall into these provocations of all-in after all-in but the truth is that no matter how much I want to have I haven't been able to use a fixed strategy, it's more like improvising in the moment, it's just that in those freerolls we never know what madness we're going to get, but I can tell you that don't try to bluff too much, these players are not going to fall for it so easily, try to be very patient and avoid falling into their game.

If you intend to win a freeroll, then due to the unusual opponents, your strategy should be as follows: tight, solid, aggressive poker. In the early stages, you won't be able to reduce the number of opponents in the pot with a standard raise. Even with aces, you will be very uncomfortable if, in addition to you, there are 4 other players watching the flop. Therefore, with your strong starting hands, you should go all-in right away preflop. With what is called a top pair, a pair consisting of one of your starting cards and the highest card on the board, you only go all-in when you have a maximum of 2 opponents. Otherwise, be very careful with this combination.

A good start is pretty essential, so you may need to go all in early to build a stack. However tight play early and wait for opportunities works best. You need to be very patient and play for hours to win big field freerolls. You can also have a small stack for very long periods of time and not see flops etc.

You're right, players often play with any hand in freerolls because it's free. But if you play with good cards, you still have a better chance of getting into the ITM than others.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re playing a freeroll or a real-money buy-in tournament—your strategy should remain consistent. In poker, even the best hand can lose at times, and that’s just part of the game. There’s nothing you can do about bad beats, so it’s crucial to stay focused on making solid decisions in the long run.

Stay away from the Action for the first 20 or 30 minutes, Fold, Fold, Fold. You always get the Bingo players shoving all-in hoping to double up early on, then they go and lose it all, Playing Stupid!
They always forget that Poker is a Marathon not a Sprint Race, and after a while they just burn out. Remember the Story about the "Turtle and the Hare" Be the Turtle, bide your time, and they will eventually Screw up, They always do!

freerolls are a different beast than live poker that you have to buy into. So in a freeroll, you have the luxury of not losing a dime, this makes the weak players play a little loose seeing they have nothing to lose. i look at it the other way, thats my money they are all grabbing for, so i play defensive. Play good starting hands and pray it works out.

early game is full of mad aggresion, if possible build up bankroll from super strong hands or be patient until they are kicked out or you're switched to another table

In freerolls you have to play aggressively with good hands, because players pay with any bad hand.
