Do you think that free tournaments you get a lot more people taking unbeleavable chances trying to get lucky and if so Why do we play them are the odds stacked against the good players.

There are always people who go all in like crazy in the beginning.
just wait and play when you have the cards. The tournament will get better when these guys are out.

when I am playing in a tournament with alot of players with a really bad price pool, like $200 on 10'000 people, then in the start I usually go allin when I have QQ, KK, AKs or AA, then 2 or more people will call the all-in and u have a really big stack afterwards :)

Zipperface totally agree with you, too, love to play free late stage of the tournament, but rarely live to it))

Am wondering how that could be. I mean what do they care who wins a freeroll. andyt5303 said as I would, play tight. But you are going to run into them all the time and at all levels in poker. They will try anything while you sit back and look for the calling/raising hands. I mean always be in a position you can call a raise with good hands. But don't be the one who bets the pots and gets to face 3 and 4 bets with a
weak hands on the button.

free tournaments is a game for fun, not for a permanent way to make money.

For sure 70% of the people treat it like bingo. 30% will try to play decent but not many of them are actually good players. It's a great way to make a little money but the prizes are small and the pools are huge.

Super tight in the first hour. When you have a good hand try to get all of the money in the middle and hope for the best. You need to get good cards - forget playing the player or even the situation (during that first hour) since most players are very, very loose and many just don't care what they play or what happens. Watch your stack size - you need to be deeper than everyone else at your table in order to make it past the bad beats that inevitably happen.

a good player always plays well, and he doesn't care how much in the tournament of 100 people or 10,000. bad that I'm not a player. IS NOT THE SAME.

I think the vast majority of freerolls make many people think badly of poker especially the number of participants and many simply prefer not to play them but if uqieres get to win some free have to play extremely aggressive and crazy

Well, we play them because they're free.
And just play tight the first hour.

Indeed. I sometimes go all-in, in the begin of the tournament.
If i lose, it's not that bad because it's just a freeroll.
And If I win, I have a good beginstack.

You need to be more specific about what kind of tournaments you are talking about. If its something like Pokerstar's 100K privilege freerolls then no - I do not play them in any hopes of getting something whatsoever. Theres no point I occasionally have jumped in just for fun. Hovever there may be specific cases. Take Pokerstars 1 000 000 freeroll for example. That thing is worth a try! There surely are other cases so again - please be more specific about what kind of tournament are you talking about.

Sometimes freerolls are just fun, and a way to get to know other members and a little fun trash talking.
