It was either Pokerstars or Full Tilt. Full Tilt had great freerolls back then.

My first free tournament was at PokerStars, but it's been a long time so I don't remember which tournament it was.

I don't remember. It was a long time ago. I played my first freeroll about 8 years ago. The only thing I can say with certainty is that I played this freeroll at PokerStars because it was at PokerStars that I created my first poker account.

My first freeroll was also on PokerStar, an incredible experience. And I haven't stopped since.

If I still remember, it was 4 years ago, where I was able to play a big freeroll that partypoker was organizing. The best thing was that I got into the prize pool in that tournament.

My first freeroll was here on CardsChat. I didn't go far, but it was a great experience. It helped me to play with more concentration. Do you remember your first freeroll?
my first game online was a $1 buyin MTT on FUlltilt in 2007. I placed in 2nd out of 900+ entrants & I won $114.00 I was hooked!

My first freeroll was on AbsolutePoker they had them running every hour. While playing in them I found out about a big online league called Railbirds. I got hooked on their games & from there I found Cardschat (the first freerolls I played on Cardschat would regularly have ~ 4,000 entrants!

I remember those days. You could win consistently just by being disciplined. I'm not sure that's possible anymore. Something's changed.

In year 2000 Pokerstars did not exist and I call fiction writer on that post.

My first freeroll with real money prizes was on Pitbull Poker in 2008.

I can’t remember when I played my first game, but I do remember playing with you on the team called ‘Crazy Canucks’ 🇨🇦 on FullTilt. They were good times and still miss them. 🥲

Yes... I was so happy, it was in Pokerstars, but I lost quickly because I was worse than I am right now hahahaha, I thought I could win easily, as I was wrong...

I don't remember that (on some Boss Media software, Paradise Poker maybe), but I'm sure I tried to take it seriously.
Well, this attitude can change very quickly, especially if you're very enthusiastic, and then you fall flat on your face.

It was in Pokerstars, many years ago. I won a 0,11 ticket and I felt great. So I put a target to myself. Win 10 dollar and then starting to play with real money. It was a good plan , after all.

FTOPS Event at Full Tilt.
It was a capped freeroll for tickets for their tournament series.

I remember having to click on the register like crazy. Or at the area where the register button would appear. It was full within seconds 😅

I don't remember my first freeroll, but I do remember playing it with basic knowledge and not understanding much more than the rules of the game.
It's remarkable how much you improve over time.

Each to his own I guess. I remember spending 7 - 8 hours in mega-freerolls (many thousands of entrants) making it to the final table or two more often than not, with little to no understanding of the game. I do much worse now that I have a much better understanding. Has a lot to do with patience I guess, or lack thereof. I see people today who are ultra-tight who do well by just sitting and waiting. I find that works for me too, but only on those rare days when I have an abundance of patience.

Ladbrokes offered freerolls a really long time ago.
After winning money, I finally started playing poker seriously.

I played my first CardsChat freeroll at 888. My first freeroll in general, I played at PokerStars. I don't remember if I won anything, but I can definitely say that I enjoyed it :)
